Good morning Tuesday

Postby Ally » 03 Apr 2018, 05:21

Good morning.

Another warm sunny day on the cards. 8-) 8-)

Off for a run shortly then back to shower etc and walk into town to go to the post office and get some bits from Mercadona.

Work 4 - 9 then home to a Thai creation from my resident chef.

Have a good day everyone.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Sunshine and clouds at the moment, with showers forecast  But quite warm 8-)

Today's plan is to finish off the last large flower bed (rain stopped weeding yesterday  ), plant the other lemon tree and a couple of other cuttings we've grown on. Then it's start on the smaller flower beds   Never ending this......

But who was the bright spark who said "let's put some horse manure on the flower beds, that'll make the flowers grow" The weeds out-grew the plants, in places

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning all, it's a bit drizzly here at the moment.

I walked Billy earlier and now I'm waiting for an Amazon parcel. The washing machine's on too so hopefully the drizzle will clear shortly so that the washing will dry. Joe might be going out today, either to Stafford or Birmingham, but he wasn't sure and Tom might be going back to uni but he wasn't sure either  John's back from Belfast tonight but he's on an evening flight and won't be home until around 10.

Di, I hope you feel better as the day goes on xx

Have a good day all!

Morning all

Di, sending a big hug and hope you feel better as the day goes on. As Saundra said - if we lived closer we'd be round with a comforting cuppa or soup (((hugs)))

I really really so don't want to be at work today - as much as the past week was a wash out, not having to get up at the crack of dawn was heaven and I could quite get used to that. Thankfully the trains were all OK so at least the commute in was just fine. Although - very annoyingly - I managed to scratch my car and put a very small dent it in. As you come into the parking lot there are bays on both sides; left and right - I usually always park on the left side but there was a parking on the right so I went for that one - they have the lamp posts on the right and in front of each lamp post are these tiny black and white posts to stop people from driving into the lamp posts - all good and well and I see the logic, but these poles are so short that you can't really see them, esp when you're concentrating on the two cars either side of you - they really should be painted a bright neon colour that you at least have a chance of seeing.. I'm not happy and very annoyed with myself. Probably not worth claiming on the car insurance but it'll have to be fixed. The car isn't quite 3 years old and I don't want it to start rusting.

Have a lovely day all - Saundra, enjoy that sunshine while you have it, it's grim and gloomy here as well

Yes, this.

Off dog walking soon then to M and S to buy some socks! That'll get the adrenaline pumping I can tell you.

It's not raining, result! It's warmer too.

Have a good day everyone.
