just looking at the internet (as you do) and it seems there is a bus connection from Faro to Orique. Do you know anyone that's ever used it? Buses look quite OK and really not pricey at all

Buses are really good - more coach than bus. Also the train is cheaper - the nearest train station is Funcheira.

Buses stop in Ourique though, Rede Express. Think there's another one, will have to ask.

Taxi from the airport to the bus or train station - they're within walking distance of each other - or there are buses to them. No idea of times though :oops:

just noticed the bus only goes once a day, and the train four times....

OK time to start making plans :D
