I'm making possibly the biggest cottage pie in the world and looking forward to having everyone here for a splendid day.

A bit of a change here--there is something in the sky that i have`nt seen for a long time and the sky is blue!!!!
Must take advantage and get the washing on.
Perhaps our little man will come and cut the grass today as it really needs it but it has been too wet.
Going to Aldis, Home Bargains and M&S later.

Morning all, yet another dull dreary grey day here and still quite chilly. Lots to do getting stuff ready for going away, as we are out tomorrow and have the children on Monday, so I had better get moving. Going out for a meal with friends tonight.

Didn't get out yesterday, but determined to do some shopping today. We don't need much, just fresh stuff. We have two main Tesco stores here, the one we usually use is huge, the other is a standard size supermarket. The latter doesn't have enough room to carry every brand but it does have a full range, even more important the mobility scooters are much better

Afternoon everyone

We have beautiful sunshine here today! I started the day missing my mum, who would have been 78 today. Mick and I were sitting outside Corretto's enjoying the sunshine, listening to some live music, when he suddenly started playing "Raining in my heart" the Buddy Holly song. We played it at her funeral I was stunned, a bit tearful, but then felt really happy - as though she was saying hello
