Good morning.

Warm and sunny. 8-) 8-)

I'm off for a mini yompette shortly, back to shower and then I'm doing absolutely nothing for the rest of the day.

If anyone needs me I'll be the one on the sofa.

Have a great day everyone.

Good luck to all the London marathon runners. xx

Morning :)
Lovely and sunny at the moment, not sure what's in store.
We had the most mahoosive thunderstorm last night, the house was shaking!

Today we're going into town, a few shops to call in.
Bacon baguettes either before or after, and curries with accompaniments tonight :)

Our friend K is running the marathon, I see on whatsapp he is up and ready to go :)

Hope everyone has a good day
x

Good luck to your friend Di, it's a warm day to be going running. Are you getting the beers in Jan? ;)
I'd like to be the one on the sofa too Ally, but daughter, son in law, baby and enthusiastic dog are coming this afternoon and if said canine starts ripping up my newly laid sheeting in the garden before I've got the gravel on it there will be murder done. And we want to avoid doggycide if at all possible. :)

A beautiful day here. If it stays this way until Christmas that would be nice. :Hi:

Son has gone to Whitby with his girlfriend, he's got a good day for it.

Have a lovely day all.

Good morning all.

It's a lovely sunny day here (so far), so I might do a bit of weeding in the garden.

Hope you all have a happy day.

Hi all - what a change in our weather from yesterday - it's cold and grey, with a few spots of rain thrown in for good measure!! Quite a culture shock!! :(

So another day to fill mostly solo.....Tom's at the farm/sleeping. So - lazy lie in where I thought I was coming down with something, coughed lots and felt a bit bunged up at first - but it's gone, whatever it was! I've not had any colds this winter :D Stuck a load in the machine and decided to nip out as I'd forgotten to buy a few things at Aldi last week. I went a different route there, did what I needed, got some petrol, then decided to drive a different way back. MISTAKE! Road closures for a stretch of no more than 50 yards but slap bang in the middle of a village I wanted to drive through (resurfacing I think) so turned round and popped the sat nav on to navigate back on unfamiliar roads....it brought me back to the road closure!! SO I'd gone in a huge circle - went back along the road and lo and behold more traffic lights at my next turn with long unmoving queues, so I did a 3 point turn and drove almost back from town - was driving almost 50 minutes by now to what is normally a 15 minute journey! GRRR!! :o

Unsure what to make for tonights' meal but it'll have to be something freezer driven....or Tom will want a Chinese :)

Anna, one of our lady opticians, is running the London Marathon. Not sure what time she'll have, but she is a runner and does daft distances most weekends so should be a walk in the park LOL

Have a good day everyone! 8-)
