A lovely day forecast.

I'm in work this morning covering two classes for a colleague. It's good for me in preparation for teaching C1 in September.

Finish at 11 but won't go home; I'm already in town so will have a mooch round the shops and a bite to eat.

Work 4 - 9 then meeting Don & Jacob who's over from Malaga to spend some time with us and stay the night. He has a flight for tomorrow morning for a weekend in Bristol. I've never known anyone to have such a wide circle of friends as him!

Looking forward to seeing him and having a beer or three.

Dropping WM at Funcheira later, for him to get the train to Faro. He mixed up the times for the flight and we couldn't un arrange our plans for this afternoon, as it involves other bods. So he'll have a mooch around Faro for an hour or so.

We're getting the water heater and other plumbing bits later this afternoon and then will stop in Iceland on the way back to stock up

Lovely and sunny here, supposed to be mostly sunny with the odd shower.

Quick visit down the lane to the nurses for us, then Bb will go straight to work.
He's dropping me off at a friend's, we're going along the coast a bit for coffee.

A wander around Faro is a bonus, is Wm then getting a bus?

Good morning Ally, Jan and all! It's quite bright here but there's a cool breeze.

Just having coffee after walking Billy and the. I'm going to get a bus over to Stafford. It's my Dad's birthday on Sunday so I need to find something for him and John's on Tuesday, he's already had an iPad a couple of weeks ago off me and the boys but I want to get him something so that he's at least got a couple of presents to unwrap

Jan, he's mixed his flight times up now? Osc was so right the other day

Ally, enjoy your time with Jacob! I can see Tom travelling here, there and everywhere to catch up with friends once he's finished university (in a few weeks )

Got my computer back with a new hard drive fitted.
Some data has been recovered from the old one. Have sent it to a firm who specialize in recovering data.
Have lost the photos and videos and some documents.
Am going to meet other pensioners who used to work at the same company for a liquid lunch.

Bus station is right near train station but you need times.
Taxi can't remember how much but worth it x

Jan - I shouldn't but - Frank; what are you like! Please wish him safe travels home and I'm looking forward to hearing all about it in person at the Brum meet
Cruiser; sorry you lost so many photo's and videos - dare I ask; have you now purchased an external hard drive for regular back ups? Or even just USB memory sticks to save them on - may be easier to sort / label?

It was his idea about walking - I know it's too far and have told him. The bus takes him directly there and the taxi is about 2.50€

He though his flight was early in the afternoon, so we arranged to meet friends down there - they're travelling from a different direction and took the day off work, so we couldn't re-arrange, sadly.

But he'll enjoy the train journey. 9.80€ bargain
