Morning Monday

Postby jenniren » 07 May 2018, 06:25

Morning all :D

Sunny already, think we're in for another lovely day 8-)

Managed a full circuit of the cul de sac twice yesterday, once in the morning and again in the afternoon, feeling very chuffed. The hospital rang in the afternoon to check on my progress, spoke to the ward manager and she's very happy with my mobility. It might have taken far too long to actually get in there, but really really can't fault my treatment once I did, everyone has been brilliant.

More of the same today, walking interspersed with sitting in the garden.

Have a good day :D

Morning Jen and everyone

Lovely sunny morning, but another couple of thunderstorms are forecast

Well done Jen, you'll be having that pub lunch this week :D :D

Will probably be too wet to do any weeding, so I'll attack the ironing this morning and whizz the duster around.

Grumpy will be making a lot of noise again, using the kango

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all - mom is in the bathroom getting ready for the day so I'm using the time to quickly pop in and say hello. Will catch up with everyone's posts a bit later today

Jen, that is fantastic to read- well done you.

We've had the most amazing 4 days celebrating mom's birthday and whilst it's always sad to have the family leave again, dare I say both mom and I are enjoying the peace and quiet. Grocery shopping in a bit then back home to just chill - I'll be pootling in the garden and mom will join in where she can and keep herself busy as she wants. It's just nice for both of us to have company and someone to talk to

Have a wonderful day all, hope your weather is as beautiful as it is here xxx

Morning :)
Another beeautiful day, going up to high 20s today :D

Glad it all went well Ria, peace and quiet sounds just the job for today.
Well done Jen, you deserve a badge :)

We will be doing some pootling, also have to wait for someone to come and do bloods, at least they said it would be before 12, so we're not stuck all day.

Hope you all enjoy the day

Morning all :)

We had an absolutely lovely day yesterday, the food was great, and the sunshine was scorchio! I took photos but forgot to get a nice group shot of everyone, which is a shame as we had a really wonderful afternoon :) It's a long day though, with the two hour drive at either end of it, both Mick and I slept like logs last night

Jen, that's great! :D :D

Ria, it will be lovely to have some quiet mum and daughter time - enjoy!

Have a great pootle Di, perfick weather for it :)

We are going round D's again, more kitchen stuff :) First though we're out for a nice brunch in the sunshine - this weather is such a boost, isn't it? :D 8-)

Love to all :) xxx

Morning all.
Lovely here again.
Nice weekend so far--Russ came on Saturday with Klara, Alyssa and baby Cici.
It was great to see them all and the baby is gorgeous- such a happy little one!
We were invited down to Eastbourne yesterday to Russ and Han`s bbq but i find it
too far to drive now.
Dan next door is having a bbq today and has asked if we would like to come round which
was really nice of him. He has put his bungalow on the market which is a shame as he
is a nice neighbour except for his 2 new additions (Beagle pups) who cry like babies if he
leaves them for long :D
Hope you all have a good day and Don and I will be planting the window boxes and tubs later.

Good morning all, it's mostly cloudy here but nice and warm. We had a lovely day out yesterday, all the driving went well as the roads were quiet, and the countryside was looking beautiful, fresh and green with the spectacular yellow of some fields of rapeseed. Had a nice lunch and enjoyed the afternoon dance, saw some people we had not seen in a while. Good drive home too, listening to our music and singing along to lots of favourite songs. I'm tired today though, after all the driving. The towels are out on the line, another wash is in the machine and I may change the bed, but otherwise nothing planned. Mr Osc is playing golf later on. Looking forward to seeing who wins the snooker later, first time in years that we have really got into it.

Been such a lovely day, I've spent the last 4 hours weeding

The bank between us and the not so nice neighbours looks a lot better, but I had to give up on the top bits, as their blasted donkey kept coming over and doing his eeeaaawwwww :cute: :cute:

Heading for the shower and then will sit out in the shade with my book.

Grumpy has made a rather large hole in the wall for the shower drain and is now building a wall :D
