Mine were, in no particular order
1. The preacher could have been a bit less is more.
2. What was Victoria Beckham wearing
3. Didn't Meghan's mum look lost and lonely
4. Prince Charles escorting Meghan down the aisle brought a tear to my eye.
5. They didnt do the full name bit. They didnt even use their proper names, which I thought was interesting
Your thoughts?

My thoughts were just that they are a couple deeply in love.
I thought they said both their full names?
I think Meghan is probably the most beautiful bride I have ever seen.

Loved it, agree about the preacher! The gospel choir was wonderful - am I the only one who secretly hoped they might get into some handclapping and synchronised moves at the end of the song
I did feel sad for Meghan's mother that she looked so alone, but surely if there had been anyone on her side she is close to, they would have been there? She strikes me as a very independent woman but I thought Prince Charles was sweet with her. Wedding dress - fabulous. Amal Clooney looked stunning. Beatrice and Eugenie still need someone to guide their dress choices, although at least we were spared awful hats
The children were completely adorable. Princess Anne is the same age as me but goodness, she can look dowdy! You've got to love a good Royal wedding!

I enjoyed it very much, and was pleased to see so many sightseers plainly enjoying being there.
I agree, Miasmum, that the preacher was a bit too much in places, and kept referring forcefully to what is really an impossible dream.
The principle characters were certainly a joy to behold, and I truly wish them a happy lifetime together.
And what a lovely place to have a wedding.

No they didn’t use their full names. They referred to themselves as I Meghan and I Harry. Which was really nice but did surprise me
Osc I completely agree about Princess Anne she looked like she was wearing a dressing gown. But weren’t Mike and Zara Tindall just lovely. Now there’s a couple truly in love
I thought one of Andrews girls looked quite nice. I think it was Eugenie? Dressed in a pretty plain pale blue shift dress

Oh - I thought you meant at no time in the service did they mention their full names. After saying Henry Charles Albert David and Rachel Meghan why wouldn't they just use the names that they use in everyday life?

they didn’t say their full names at any point, that’s what I found unusual.

Well they wanted to put their own stamp on their wedding and they certainly did.

I avoided everything to do with it in the run-up, and will avoid all the aftermath. I have no interest whatsoever.
And, no, I am not a miserable old git.
Harry is by far my favourite Royal, and Meghan is truly a beautiful woman, but there it ends.
I find the media analyses of every aspect of their wedding, the dishes, the flowers, the dress, their lives now and their lives in the future, macabre.
Just let them get on with being man and wife, as we would with every other marriage.
