Hot and sunny.

Going in to work this morning to cover two classes. Instead of coming home I'll stay in town, have a mooch round the shops and have a bacon pitufo for brunch.

Work 4 - 9 then meeting Don for a pre-weekend beer.

Dull here, and rain forecast on and off all day.

Nothing on today, so will wait and see how the weather goes.
Yesterday was nice, we drove just down the coast and had coffee, then a bit further along and a little walk by the sea, then back to collect Minnie.
They have clipped her a bit shorter this time, she looks very smart

Same here Di, not much on. I need to get the border in the back garden finished though. We do not have Ally-style temperatures here this morning. Grey and a bit chilly so far.

Morning all

Heavy rain overnight, still a bit dull and overcast.

Quite a nice jaunt to the garden centre yesterday. Helps that when needed I could sit in the comfortable garden furniture section. Had a problem spending the vouchers, there really wasn't a lot we needed/wanted. In the end we bought a set of solar lights, a couple of plants and a few other bits. Spent the rest in the restaurant, not cheap, but the seating's ideal and the food was actually very good. Even better when the whole visit cost just 50p Think we were over there for a couple of hours. No problem with walking, apart from taking the usual precautions the new hip didn't trouble me, the biggest problem was my arthritic ankle on the good leg. I'm taking all the pressure on that side so can't stand for too long in one position, it was absolutely singing by the time we got home.

No plans for today, just my usual walks weather permitting.

Grey. Not warm Had a huge thunderstorm at 5.45 this morning and it rained for an hour

So that's scuppered this mornings plans of weeding and strimming

Grumpy has a plan B, which means work in the utility room, soon to be loo. My plan B is making a broad bean thing with olive oil, chillies and garlic.

And making a curry for dinner, rather than a salad

Good morning, it's quite dull here with a cool wind.

Joe's in college this morning and then he's meeting Raegan this afternoon. I need to hoover through and I'm going to mow the lawns, they don't look too bad but the forecast is for a lot of rain over the next few days so I'll get them done while they're dry. I'll walk Billy again later; he shook things up a bit this morning and took me a different way to the one he usually chooses

Morning all its getting brighter but windy housework today visitors expected over the weekend but we've a train strike Saturday so I'm not sure jo Scarlett is really good she was so excited ran up the path shouting daddy daddy and pointing to J he was carrying flowers for me she went in the garden picked a million broken pegs up for me Ho but yap Hope everyone has a good day

dull and windy here; sun trying to break through. would say usual work day but this week has been an odd one; so think I'll just say work day Leaving drinks for a colleague this evening so home a bit later than usual
