A terrible thing

has happened here in the city, over the Bank Holiday, a double murder of mother and 11 Year old daughter. Reading between the lines (and according to what Mick has heard unofficially from local rumour, including his friend on the council) the man they've arrested is the husband :( :( Mick knows the dad/granddad from school, and believes he knows the culprit's dad too :(

What on earth gets into men who do this? :( Gloucester is a city, but in many ways is a small town, in that everyone knows everyone else, and there is a sense of shock today.....

There are two other children who have not only lost their mum and sister, but effectively their dad too.

I have no idea either. I don't know what possesses some people to do things like that.

Nasty when it's so close to you, Kaz.

It's awful, I was reading about this earlier. That poor family :(

Can't even begin to imagine how someone would think of doing something so horrific, let along carry it out.

Exactly; as Kaz said - they've lost their entire family. How do you ever get over that?

Absolutely heartbreaking :(

Where it happened is behind the retail park where B&Q, Mothercare, and Homesense are, we were there on Sunday! Five minutes away in the car :? Apparently the police apprehended him on a nearby bridge - I expect he was going to jump but bottled it. Bloody coward :( Apparently the little girl was his stepdaughter, the other two children are his

Scary, Kaz, esp when so close. But they do say that many victims are known to their murderers.

What possess them, who knows?
