The sun

Postby JanB » 13 Jun 2018, 20:20

came out today :Hi: :Hi: :Hi: :Hi: :Hi: :Hi:

We struggled up to 26C - but, dear me, the sheer bliss, heaven of having warmth, heat, after such a long, cold, windy winter and spring.

We actually managed to eat outside tonight, with sunglasses for Grumpy, as he was facing the sun ;)

Jose Felipe is still out there, finishing off the cutting - I stopped him and gave him a beer - Steve will be here on Saturday - all looking good :D :D :D

LOL, we could actually do with some rain down here in the Vale - I don't think we've had anything for over a fortnight now.

Dragonflies from the river flying out in the sun, and into our back garden! 8-)

Planted a bed of begonias, watered in thoroughly, and the blackbirds went "Whoopee!" and promptly grubbed all the compost up and spread it across the path. Flippin' birdbrained vandals

You'll need to go further north, I would think Ally, into the Estrellas. Or maybe some parts of the mountains (hills, really, between the Algarve and the Alentejo. July is normally hot. Then again, so is May, June

Last night I would have posted similar to Ossie, but we have rain and wind this morning  Still, I guess we need it!

I hope that's the end of your long cold spell Jan xxx
