A swim then a lazy day by the pool beckons.

Tonight we're meeting friends at the Chinese restaurant and at 1am we'll mosey down to the feria for the closing ceremony and lots of fireworks.

Traffic was very bad yesterday and won't be any better today, so no point planning on going anywhere, but here's nice

Popping into Ourique for 9.00 ish, as Pingo are having a no IVA day. As it runs as 23%, that's going to be a huge saving So things liker water, beer, wine will be bought, in bulk

Will watch the England game, then head for the pool. BBQ tonight.

We're up early for a Sunday - B is working, but as the Sunday bus services aren't good Mick's giving her a lift. It was lovely to see Chris yesterday, he's off the blood thinners now, but his leg looks permanently discoloured from that DVT We're going out to enjoy the sunshine a bit later, and will go and see D at some point

Ally that lounging by the pool sounds so good!

He-s a lot better, thanks Kaz. Just did too much on Friday. He had a snooze in the afternoon and we were in bed early too. Always up early this time of year, when it-s cooler and fresher

Lots of pottering around the house yesterday, I'm so keen to do things sometimes I overdo it a bit, ended up quite sore. Will be doing less today, plan to sit out in the garden with my kindle.

Good afternoon all, it's been a busy few days!

John and Joe have been watching the England game, I'm not at all patriotic when it comes to international football though I'll probably watch the game v Belgium to see Lukaku.

We moved some of Tom's stuff back yesterday, the bulk of it will be moved back on Wednesday though. We seem to have acquired some of Jake's belongings too; there's a huge and very heavy army issue backpack in the garage along with a ceremonial riding crop

What a lovely day it is. We have had a few hours tidying up the garden, and popping a few new plants in.

Then we enjoyed watching England's remarkable football win. We don't often watch football, but I'm glad we did today.
