Don's just come up with the brilliant idea of walking into town, having a few ice cold beers and a selection of yummy tapas.

As I CBA  to cook in this heat his suggestion was greeted very enthusiastically.

fab suggestion !

no idea what I'll have - need to go past Sainsbury on the way home to get a few bits and bobs for the weekend so may find something there.

I found a mushroom quiche in the freezer, and made a big salad to go with it.

A chicken breast with a Masala coating, spinach and crème freche. No carbs!

However we do have 1/2 a pack of sourdough bread that's only a day old but which you could already re-use as paving slabs. :D Might try toasting it later …..

Slice and freeze next time Ossie ;)
We had quiche and a big salad last night Kaz :D
Tonight it's the other half, with chips and coleslaw.

It'll be nice, but would rather have Ally's!

LOL, Di, it was sliced, and we had refridgerated it after opening, but you could still use it today to tile your roof …..

I'll settle for a big plate of chips and coleslaw, but the quiche is all yours ….. :D

As it turned cool earlier, we decided on a curry, instead of a pork bbq.

Wrong

Got berlinkin' hot - sat outside, in full sun and leaked, eating a rather warm curry

Spinach provides about 1 gram of carbohydrate per 1-cup raw serving, which comes from sugar. Carbohydrates, such as sugars, provide 4 calories per gram. Making a 4-cup bed of spinach greens for your grilled chicken provides a minimal 4 grams of carbs, or 16 calories from carbohydrates.

A 2-tablespoon serving of creme fraiche has just 1 gram of carbs or less.

Not bad considering there's a whopping 56g carbs per 100g in sour dough bread.

Good job I don't like sour dough bread!!
