Good morning everybody.
It has rained in the night and more rain is forecast.
Out shopping this morning.
Dancing tonight.
Relaxing this afternoon after a busy day on Sunday. Went shopping in the morning and then in the garden in the afternoon. Cleared an area where we are having a new shed. Then painted part of the fence. It was hot in the sun.
It is still humid even though there are clouds.

Good morning all, it's warm and sunny still.

Billy's had his walk, I've changed our bed and Tom's (did Joe's on Friday as he was up early), got two loads of washing on the line and have just ironed what was washed yesterday. I thought I'd be best leaving the ironing until first thing this morning before it heated up too much in the utility room. Tom's due back from Shannon's at some point today and then he's working from 7pm-2am. John's got to pick up something from a work colleague's house tonight and he lives just 10 minutes past Ikea so I'll hitch a ride, enjoy their air conditioning and no doubt spend some money

We were forecast a showery week but that all seems to have changed overnight. We're so desperate for some rain and I'm worried about how the wildlife around here is coping. The bilberries on the common have come to nothing and the plants are dying so they don't have those to eat and the grass has all turned to straw :(

Have a good day all!

Morning all

Jo, same here - not a drop of rain where we are and nothing expected for a good while.. well maybe if we're lucky we'll have some on Friday / Saturday but I'm not holding my breath. Thankfully there are a few lakes where I am so hopefully wildlife is coping OK and I've got loads of tubs of water all over the garden (inside the fenced area and out of it) so plenty water. Also, just as well we don't have a hosepipe ban (yet) so I can still water the plants. The grass is looking dire though; but hey... that recovers quick enough once we do get rain.

Di, enjoy the last art class. Can you ladies not meet up at alternative houses anyway and continue with something arty?
Jan hope you get what you need in Ourique

Another usual / usual for me - meeting a friend for lunch though.

have a good day all and enjoy whatever is you're up to xx
