Don and I are going to Robin Hood cemetery this morning to scatter his mum's ashes. Don's had a bit of a time of it as it has taken months of organising to arrange to have his dad's stone lifted to be able to do this.
Finally he gets to say a final goodbye to his mum.

Off to Dorridge afterwards to see Jude in her new house.

Tonight I'm off out to Solihull with all the ladies who come over to Torremolinos every May. We've got a table booked at the Thai Brasserie and I'm very much looking forward to seeing everyone.

Don's going to meet his oldest friend Gez and they're going for a curry....he's going to stay the night at Gez and Sharon's rather than coming all the way back over to this side of Birmingham.

But the dull, grey and cool start is good for the guys doing the rendering. Grumpy sorting out the mixer, electric etc, as they're due in about 15 minutes

I have no idea what I'll be doing today will have to think of something to occupy myself. Grumpy is going to help the men, somehow. Not mixing though, he'd never keep up

Good morning all, it's sunny and quite warm already.

I'm about to boil over though. Tom is getting his car repaired today and was dropping it off at 8. I told him last night that I was going out at 8.30. I rushed back with Bill to find him sitting in bed on his phone. It's now 7.58 and he's hogging my bathroom, I can't start getting ready to go out until I've had a shower and I've been waiting for 15 minutes already so I'm going to be rushing to get the bus now. Add to that the fact that he used my Dyson to clean out his car yesterday and when I came to use it afterwards the handle, the one which you hold while hoovering, had been broken and it certainly wasn't when I hoovered the day before.

Jo, it does take a bit of getting used to, when they come home to stay after Uni. It's not the same as before, as they're now adults, but things settle - just stand your ground

Going into town for another tanning session, then will go and see D. I really must clear the ironing this afternoon Pilates tonight.

Saundra, it's the only bathroom with a shower but he uses it even if he's not having a shower. Maybe I should remind him that if we hadn't spent so much on him over the last few years there might've been a shower in the other bathroom by now
