Don's due back from Gez's around 10 then we're going into the city centre shopping. We've got 23kg luggage allowance going home and will make sure we use it.

We had a lovely time last night, H and his boy are good company
Out for coffee with friends this morning, hoping Mabel's is over its water problems.

Work cracking on, the final coat is going on as I type For such a little bloke, he doesn't half slap the muck on the wall at speed Just hear the thump as it lands on the wall

Pasty making for me later, might attempt some cleaning, but with the doors opening and shutting all day long, a bit useless, really.

Friday here so office lunch - Korean today; yum. Then home to relax. Keeping fingers and toes crossed that we get that promised rain and thunderstorms, but not holding out much hope!

Good morning, I woke to the sound of rain on the bathroom window don't like that. Hopefully it will clear as the day goes on. I have a busy day, some housework before I go to the gym, then back home to change and have a quick lunch. This afternoon I am meeting someone who is coming from Belfast to stay the night, she is coming dancing with us tonight. Better get moving!

Cooler and a bit dull this morning.

Shopping was a bit of an effort yesterday, but I had a better night and my stomach seems to have settled. Still not 100%, but at least my heavy head has lifted. Planning to pop into town later this morning, only need a few bits, but will be nice to get out.

Me and Bill walked for two hours before it got too warm. Now I'm waiting for an Amazon parcel. Tom's back from Shannon's at around lunchtime and then he and Joe are driving down to Cardiff tonight for their cousin's go-karting stag day tomorrow. John's also out tonight, with Lee.

Osc, I'm so jealous of your rain! We're forecast some today according to the BBC local news this morning but looking at the weather apps there's only a 45% chance that we'll actually get some.

Kaz, are you ironing before it gets too warm to do it?
