I know some of you aren't bothered about the cinema, but thought you might be interested in the Meerkat 2 for 1 meals. I paid the princely sum of £3.76 for a two day travel insurance (made up a date and place) and it entitles me to 2 for 1 cinema tickets for a whole year and they've now added meals. There's a list of local restaurants where you can have starter, main and pud for two and only pay for one person. Just one day at the cinema pays for it, and we saved £16.02 on dinner at Ask yesterday. Add it up over a year and it's a huge saving.

There are restrictions, one trip to the cinema each week on a Tues/Wed, but the meals are unlimited anytime Sunday through to Thursday.

That is a good deal Jen esp if you enjoy movies (which admittedly I don't). But I'll make my SIL aware of it - they'd be able to make use of it I'm sure!

£3.67 once a year covers both Ria. Tbh it wouldn't matter if you never went to the cinema, it's worth it just for the meals. Just one meal saved us £16.02, so even if you only used it a few times in the year you'd still save a lot of money.
