We're going to Torremolinos this morning for a walk along the coast.

We'll pick up some beefburgers and buns on the way home and have those for lunch with Conor. He stayed over last night as he wanted to watch Birmingham's first game of the season with his dad.

Tonight we're off to a birthday party at a friend's house.

Had a lie in this morning, bliss Still cloudy but going to be rather a hot day.

Another couple of big fires in Monchique. Friends live not too far away and they have not had a lot of sleep for the last couple of nights. But as we have helicopters and planes flying over the more vulnerable areas, the bombeiros are at the fires a lot quicker this year.

Steve will be her later, to do the - hopefully - finishing touches to the wiring. He'll also put up the new bathroom lights and the outdoor light - I know I'm evil, but I really can't wait for that one

The ironing is still looking at me, I might, just might get it done.

MrsC to Cheerful charlie Chester's (aka her dad) this morning. I might go and look at cars. Ive been referred to the specialist on the 15th and I have a feeling it might be new hip time. In any case our car is 15 years old and although its still phenomenally reliable, I need a higher seat now. It's difficult getting in and out.

We had a lovely day yesterday, but I'm absolutely cream crackered. Slept like a log last night. M is off home around lunch time so I'm just waiting for them all to finish in the shower and then I'll do brekkie. Expect E and I will flop this afternoon

Currently in the Quays with Mick and Becks, we asked if she wanted lunch anywhere special, but she's eating out with friends tonight, so was happy with our usual brunch We bought her a big bottle of perfume, Daisy, as she keeps borrowing mine, I paid for her new Sketcher shoes for work, and I got her a lovely new dressing gown, so she's been spoiled
