Good morning.

Flippin hot. 8-) 8-)

Off for a run as soon as it's light then back for a swim and coffee. :D :D

This afternoon Don & I are going into Malaga...it's feria! :Hi: :Hi:

We're then meeting up with an old school friend of Don's and his wife who have lived in Bali for over 20 years. They're over in Europe for an extended holiday for Nigel's 60th and he included Spain on the trip. We'll have dinner with them and a good old catch up as we haven't seen each other since we all lived in London. :D :D

Have a great day everyone.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Still dark but with a fantastic sky - full of stars :D

Have a great time catching up with your friends Ally :D

Grumpy will be making a lot of noise later  He's hoping to finish off the drains this morning, before the sun gets to that side of the house. I've got some ironing andwill move some seedlings into he garden. I'll try and get <Grumps to dig a big hole for a small tree to go in, seeing as he will have the kango out.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning :)
A bit dull but supposed to be a nice day.
That'll be nice Ally :)

Craft for me this morning, have been making a birthday card, but now finally back to knitting that cowl I started last winter.
Made some of the leftovers into coronation chicken last night, it was yum :)

Hope you all have a good day
x

Morning you lot...

Ally just being curious what time you posted... the time on your post, and that of Jan's both say just before 6am. Was that 6am your time Ally or ours? Jan, we're the same so interesting that your skies are still dark then - 6am is definitely daytime here. Although I did notice last night that it's getting darker earlier again :( I absolutely love the long English summer days and wish we'd have more of them than we do

Di, enjoy craft; that cowl will be handy for the winter x

Usual / usual for me today so nothing interesting to report

have a lovely day all xx

Ria - 6.25am our time was when I posted. :D

It's light by 6.45 and not dark till 10pm.

I noticed last month in the UK it was light at 4am.

ETA I pointed out the stars this morning to Don...I don't think I've ever seen as many in the sky. They were amazing!

Morning all :)

How lovely to see old friends Ally :)

So it might be ready for this winter then Di ;) I started a baby blanket, made from knitted squares, for my niece - it was just about ready for when her younger brother was born, over three years later

Morning Jan :D

Morning Ria :) I've noticed the difference in dawn/dusk when I've been on holiday. We're lucky here in N Europe to have the lovely long days in summer 8-)

D is seeing friends today so I'll just be going into town, then home again, to get my steps. No doubt a nice cuppa and a little something at lunchtime ;) WW went well yesterday, I'm cutting out sugar again, and lost 2.5lbs this week :)

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

the days are definitely getting shorter Ally. Admittedly the weather is rather gloomy but when I get up at 5.45 I have to switch on a light in the kitchen. And last night come 9.15pm it was dark

Maybe if we had lovely sunny days it would be lighter longer but right now it's just miserable. Bring back the summer !

Morning all. A bit stymied today due to the car situation. We have had to cancel Father in Law's appointment at the eye clinic. Hopefully the vehicle will be sorted by tomorrow as I'm due to see the specialist about my hip and I don't want to miss that.

Have a good day all.

How far is the specialist Crommers - could you cab it? Or if need be find a cheap hire car for the day?

It's not too far at all Ria but I would prefer my own car, just for the convenience.
