Good morning.

The heat continues. 8-)

A swim, coffee then off to Miramar shopping mall. I need to get a couple of things for Switzerland, it's a lovely place to shop and it's all air conditioned.

Conor's coming over early evening to take us out for a beer and a bite to eat. :D

Have a great day everyone.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Bit hazy this morning, sky wise, but warming up later to rather a warm day. We have a mini heat wave for a few more days 8-)

Grumpy to finish off the path - we have the path around the house, so needs to be done.

I'll do the watering, and the cleaning this morning, then sit inside and watch the athletics this afternoon.

Heldar and Dimas will be here today - no idea when, they just said Saturday    - to help move the worktop. Have beer for them as a thank you.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning :)
A bit dull, but supposed to be a nice enough day.

No idea what we will be doing, there was talk of going into town early. Has to be early, due to market and tourists, so will see how I am after my shower.
Hope you all have a good day
x

Morning all :)

I just noticed your ticker, Ally! I expect Switzerland will be lovely and cool, for climbing? ;)

Hope you get your worktop moved Jan :)

Have a good time Di, if you get out and about 8-)

Well it looks a bit dull here, but the forecast for later is reasonable. We'll be out for brunch soon, then picking up B from the station on our way up to see D :) It's been a very quiet week, and it will be nice to have her home 8-)

We might be catching up with friends for a coffee later, as they're coming to Gloucester briefly on their way home from holiday - but it will depend on the traffic for them, I think.

Have a good day everyone :) xx

It's been sat in the back garden since we had the new kitchen put in    So I'm very happy to have it shifted. We can't do it on our own, hence having muscles coming - sometime

Good morning all, it's sunny here.

I've walked Billy and when John comes back from dropping Joe off at work we'll have coffee and decide what to do today. Tom's not working this weekend and is going to Shannon's later, staying until tomorrow night. Her friend has just come back from 8 weeks of working with the wildlife in Tanzania and she was there for her 21st birthday so they're having a delayed celebration tonight.

Right now there's washing to hang out.

Ally, I'm going to have to Google the tunnel now :D

Hope you feel up to getting out Di xx

Kaz, had B been to see her Dad?

Hope you get the worktop moved Jan!

Have a good day all!

Morning all

Hope you all enjoy the days and the various bits you're up to.... good luck with the work top move Jan

I need to pop into town this morning to pick up a few things and then not quite sure what the day will bring. Karl and Nadine have finally had their extension plastered so it's ready for painting. Karl did the base primer last night so today the plan is for him, Nadine and me to grab a roller each and crack on... But I do also need to do stuff at home in the garden and pop by the allotment. The weather tomorrow is iffy - one forecast says dry all day the other says intermittent rain so I'd rather get my garden bits done today; but also know that Karl and Nadine really really need the help with the painting so they can lay the flooring and get their stuff moved over. They upstairs part of the extension is a new master bedroom with dressing room and en-suite. Amelia will then move into what was their bedroom and Thomas will move into Amelia's room. And understandably Karl and Nadine want to have both kids in their new before school starts again - it's Thomas's last year and Amelia will be starting secondary so it's a big year for both that really needs to start of as settled as can be

Have a lovely day all xxx

Ally, Tom was showing me Beth's photos on her Instagram yesterday....it looks stunningly beautiful, she managed to fit in a trip to see the Victoria Falls too.
