Good morning.

In the low 30's which is perfectly acceptable. :D 8-)

A walk as soon as it's light, back for a swim and a coffee. :D

Need to nip into town to post a parcel then home to chill and upload some more pics. :D

Can't believe a week ago today I did that thrill walk - the time is flying by!

Have a great day everyone and continued vibes for Saundra.

Morning Ally! :)

Not long woken up at Richard and Nikki's, but not wanting to disturb anyone just yet by going down and making a cuppa yet! Spent a very comfortable night here in their lovely space room with en suite. It really is a beautiful new house, in lovely countryside. We need to be on the road to Rushden by around 9.30, there is a church service, followed by a burial, then a wake at the golf club. Hoping to get time on the way home this evening to pop in at my sister's for an hour or so

Have a good day everyone xxxxx

Hope everything goes ok today Kaz.

My sister used to live 5 minutes walk from a church in Rushden before she moved to France. Wonder if it's the same one. xx

Morning Ally, Kaz and everyone

Grey and blowing a hooley  Not too cold, but feels it in the wind. Supposed to be 31C today

Hope it all goes as well as it can Kaz xx

Hope Saundra had a good night and will be up and about soon xx

Off to Ourique soon, via Mitch's house. We need to drop off his sack truck and pick-axe. Do the various bits and bobs, coffee on the way back and then decide what to do with the rest of the day.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning :)
Dull again, yesterday cleared quite nicely, hope today does as well.
No plans for me today, except choose a new book to read. I'm so pleased to be back reading, but am getting through books at a rate of knots!

Hope it all goes well Kaz x
Thinking of Saundra.

Hope you all have a good day
x

Morning all

Glad you're enjoying the reading Di; I really need to find a good book to read as it's been ages!
Ally - laughing at your sweaty knees :D
Kaz - hope today goes as well as it can (despite the rather unexpected start to the day ;-) )
Jan - hope your weather clears up for you and hope you get a bit of a relax time this afternoon.

Woke up to rain this morning and it hasn't stopped - very nippy (14 only) and wet and just absolutely miserable.

Usual / usual for me so nothing exciting to report

Have a lovely day all and continues get better vibes for Saundra and anyone else that may need them x

Good morning all, it's a lovely sunny morning here, although with a slight autumn chill. I'm very efficient and already have my washing on the line "halo smiley". I want to pop to the local health centre to see if they have a particular form I need. Then off to the gym, and we will do the supermarket shop this afternoon.

My sister and I really enjoyed our theatre visit last night, a strong story with music and dance - a play with music rather than a musical. For those of you not on FB, this is a link to the true story on which the play is based. It shows the hard, cruel, church ridden Ireland of 80 years ago, and it was especially poignant to see it after last weekend's papal visit, which demonstrated so clearly that we have as a country fought ourselves free of the binds of the Catholic church.

David and I visited Friedrichshafen in Germany last week...a small town. Would you believe it a friend's friends daughter is only attending university there! Small world indeed!
