Good morning.

Sunny and warm forecast. 8-)

#bonkers day 1 will have an added madness to it!

Today is Jacob and Conor's 26th birthday. :D :D so Don will pick me up at 11am after my 2 morning classes are finished and we're going over to mum and dad's where the twins will be waiting for us and we're all going for a late breakfast. :D :D

We'll have a few hours together then I need to be back at work for 3ish and Conor has work too. :D

Jacob's got a few days off so he'll meet up with me tonight with Don for a beer and a bite to eat. Phew!

Have a good day everyone.

Moring Ally, morning everyone

Happy Birthday to Conor and Jacob :Hi: :Hi:

Supposed to be another lovely day, we reached the dizzy height of 28C yesterday  cold at night though ;)

More weeding today  Since that lovely rain, they're popping their heads up everywhere   If we don't have the promised thunderstorm this morning, then I'll spray the paths too.

Grumpy will be making the door up :Hi: :Hi: In the lounge :o :?

We need hinges and a latch but hoping we can get them tomorrow in Ourique.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :D

Happy Birthday to your boys Ally.

Getting ready for the journey to Swindon, we've decided we should go to my aunts funeral, just feel it's the right thing to do. Not really looking forward to the journey, it's over a year since I've driven on the motorways. The M25 and M4 aren't a picnic at the best of times, hoping it's not too ghastly today, Keeping fingers crossed if we do numerous stops I won't seize up. Should get there around teatime and then have an early night ready for the funeral at noon tomorrow. We'll stay over a second night before driving home Thursday. Hope I won't regret it and have a feeling I'll be ready to sleep for a week when we get back home again.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Happy birthday to Conor and Jacob, Ally. Yes Jen, steady away on the M25, it's not a relaxing road to drive. 28c indeed Jan! Enjoy your meet up with D Kaz.

Chilly and breezy here. I have some paperwork to do and a cronky old rinter to try and coax into life, then the rest of the day should be free.

Have a good day all. :)

Good morning all, when I first woke just before 8am there was blue sky and sunshine, but less than an hour later it had clouded over, and when I was hanging out washing it was cold and windy :| Nothing special happening today, h/work and supermarket shop, my life is so interesting

Drive carefully, Jen, and take plenty of breaks. Happy Birthday to Conor and Jacob! Saundra, take things easy, don't do too much too soon.

These weather forecasters tell fibs

It's cloudy, cool and feels damp. Struggled up to 20C

Oh yes, it goes with the territory. Even the hourly local forecast on the BBC Weather app can be suspect. A couple of Saturdays ago, for 11:00, it said 98% chance of rain. I went outside at 11:02, looked up, and saw blue sky!!

Went to Shaftesbury this p.m. and on the way back, decided to purchase a copy of "Missal for Murder" by Rosie Lear. This book's unusual in that you can only buy it on-line or by personal application at the Motcombe Community Post Office and Village Shop! That might give you a little clue as to where the authoress resides ....

Needless to say while I was in the shop, I succumbed to the temptations of a packet of Border Families' Milk Chocolate Ginger Cookies. Ossie was roundly castigated by Mrs O on arrival home :| , with the Dietary Riot Act being duly read, but having then dispensed with the "formalities", she proceeded to make a brew and was last seen chomping away in a corner of the sitting room .... 8-)

Trust everyone is having a good day. :D
