OK, I bought a mango ten days ago and it is still rock solid.

A neighbour suggested putting it in a bag with some banana skin, trouble is all the bananas are green.

So, as it is sunny, it is on the window ledge being turned in the hope of geeing it up.

Ripen at home, but what year! :?:

Maybe an apple?

But then I googled..

“Ripen the mango in a paper bag or newspaper. Leave the bag of mangos on the kitchen counter overnight and check for ripeness in the morning. Mangos wrapped in a paper bag will release ethylene, which is an odourless gas that speeds up the ripening process.”

That’s the second thing I’ve learnt today.
