Dinner tonight

Postby JanB » 23 Oct 2018, 17:31

Sometimes, I wish Grumpy didn't come shopping with me

Was asking for meats at the butchery counter when he saw some steak, so I was asked to buy a couple of steaks  We don't normally have steak here, as they do the worst cuts :?

And I'm not very good on cooking it

Tonight we're having that steak, with garlic mushrooms, onion rings, chips and peas.

I've made sure I have lots of mushrooms (Gladys won't like it but tough  ) and chips to fill us up if the steaks are rubbish

Ours wasn't too bad either Saundra ;)

Just having a glass of wine, then going down to the bar for a coffee and brandy 8-) just to finish it off :D

You can join Alberto then Saundra :D

I'll stick with the brandy - my dad used to drink whiskey and the smell was horrible, especially the next day
