Morning Ally, morning everyone

Ditto

The cat woke me up, wanting to go out. She's out, I was then lying in bed, mind in overdrive

We have to go to Ourique later and also pop in to drop something off for Mitchell. I'm taking my camera and we'll then go to the bar and I'll take a couple of photos of the calmness that surrounds it. Would have loved to have shown Di where we live now.

Will be thinking of you all over there today. Safe travels to those who are able to make it.

Beijinhos

Good morning from Dublin Airport, I’m another who didn’t sleep well. Was asleep by 10.30pm but woke at 1am and only dozed after that  The airport is heaving, it’s a bank holiday weekend and children are on mid term break. I’ve had tea and a scone, and done my makeup. The plane has just arrived so hopefully we will be away on time and maybe I’ll get a snooze on the flight. It’s different travelling on my own - all members of staff have been so nice, I think I’ll develop a persona of a helpless old dear :cute:

Random thoughts from an airport:-

Why do people still not have their liquids organised?

Three American women, two using sticks, one with a wheely walker - do they never make a connection between their obesity and lack of mobility?

Why did the woman in the next toilet need to unravel what sounded like the whole toilet roll?

How did the woman opposite ever think she was going to be allowed to take that big case on board?

Ok, nearly time to board.....

Good morning. We're in the car, just nearing Swindon. I woke up bang on the dot of 6.45 literally seconds bet Mick's alarm went off! Osc, Bry, see you later xxx

Safe travels to you all. Di always came over as being the loveliest person.

I need to get the big shop done today after I've done my exercises. Sergio (neighbour) is making us some foccacia bread today, bless him.

Cold and clear here, have a good day all.

I'm not a regular poster I know, but Di has been on my mind and especially this morning. I'll be thinking of Bry and all of you who attend the funeral.

Morning all, after a clear and sunny start it's now raining.

Di is very much on my mind today xx

I need to pop to the post office shortly, there's some ironing to do too and I'll steam clean the kitchen surfaces and floor.

Osc, I always remember flying back from Dublin with Joe a couple of years ago and waiting to go through security when a couple rushed past us needing to jump the queue as their gate was closing. They were quite rude and were obviously not going to take no for an answer. We were quite a way down the queue and when I went to collect my bag after it had come through the scanner they were both there emptying their bags for the guards and were putting some things in a plastic bag and having other things which were clearly over 100mls confiscated :P

Morning all :D

Thinking of Di and sending love to Bb and all who attend today xxx

Our drive home yesterday was much the same as going up. We had a couple of stops again and were home in about 4.30hrs. No surprise I was really sore so took some painkillers and flopped. We're both stiff and sore this morning, hence the late start, just having brekkie. I did stock up ready for this weekend, so apart from a 10min drive to our small Tesco for fruit and veg, intend to take it easy and be very lazy for the next few days.

Love and hugs to you all.
