Good morning Sunday

Postby Ally » 28 Oct 2018, 06:52

Good morning.

Looks gorgeous out there. 8-)

I'm kick starting my running (been a bit lax with the folks being here  ) and will come back and have a swim. The weather's been so warm the pool, although definitely cooler, is still swimmable.

I plan to chill out for the rest of the day. :D :D

Enjoy your day. xx

Morning all :)

Ally, it's amazing that your pool is still warm 8-) :) xx

Hoping for a quiet day today - out for the papers later then round to D's as Mick's brother Jeff and his wife are visiting, so we'll go to say hello. I think I'll get another ready cooked chicken for dinner, and do roast veggies with it 8-)

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning Ally, Kaz and everyone

Still blowing a hooley here  only a couple of plants over and one table and bench.

We took the cover off the pool yesterday, to put in the winteriser and empty skimmers and filters. It was 20C - so I won't be using it again until it warms up

Bits and bobs for me today, Grumpy will be doing stuff to the new door frame. The door is up :Hi: no handle yet, but it's there

Had hoped to have a bbq yesterday but just too windy. Will try again later. If we can't. I'll be cooking it on the hob

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

off to change the time…..

Morning all. It is blinking freezing here, but bright and sunny. Going for a short walk soon, roast chicken for dinner. We need a new iron, the old one keeps tripping the power to the downstairs sockets. Son's mate is an electrician; he could have a llok at the wiring but he is mega busy atm.

Have a good day everyone.

Morning all, it's a nice bright morning here but very cold. No plans for the day - the ever present ironing might get some attention, and I might do some reading. Mr Osc is making a batch of apple jelly as a friend gave him a bag of apples.

morning all... a seriously dull, grey, wet and windy day here. I'm hoping in clears up in a bit so I can get to the allotment to do a bit more tidying up. Also past the shops to get some onions so I can make more tomato sauce.

Then off to Karl and Nadine for dinner and drop off a few things that need to go into the checked luggage. Nadine and I are heading off to Germany on Wednesday morning to visit my mom and we're taking one suitcase between us both. Nadine has more 'hold' stuff so I'll just drop off my toiletry bag so she can pack the suitcase. My other stuff will be hand luggage

Enjoy the rest of the day everyone x

Good afternoon all.

Having a quiet day today.

My arthritis is much more painful today, and I'm looking forward to having another injection on Tuesday.
It looks like I'm now going to be a regular visitor t o the Health Centre. I suppose this is to be expected in old age.

Hope you all feel better than me.

Morning all...…...almost

Managed to sleep in really late in spite of getting an extra hour, think we're both still recovering from the journey to Swindon.

Wet and very windy overnight, just dull and damp right now.

Another lazy day for us. Roast chicken for dinner tonight. It's vanilla blancmange with lemon and lime jelly this week.

Hope you all have a good day :D
