Good morning Thursday

Postby Ally » 01 Nov 2018, 06:45

Good morning.

How is it November?!

We had rain from 6 - 10 last night. Everywhere looks fresh and lovely and it looks like a beautiful day today. :D

It's All Souls Day so a national holiday. I plan to have a walk and a final swim and then just enjoy being at home with Don. :D

Have a good day everyone.

How are you feeling Nanna? xx

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Well, it's dry 8-) Still cloudy, but supposed to be a lot better for the next couple of days - a lot warmer too :D :D

Holiday here too, but as we didn't go out yesterday, we're off to Ourique this morning. Supermarkets will be open and I need to get a prescription from the centro de saúde, which, thankfully, is also open on holidays.

Back to do a lot of cooking, as we have visitors tomorrow :Hi: :Hi: Normally, we'd go out for dinner, but the restaurants locally have gone downhill recently or put their prices up :cute:

Havea good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning everybody.
Out shopping this morning and to the bank.
Then just pottering.
Nanna, lots of vibes. Hope everything goes well.
Some rain in the night and still cloudy.

Morning ally, Jan and Cruiser. It's rained here too overnight. Vibes for Nanna.

Last night we didn't get one trick or treater! Five pounds those Cadbury's Roses cost me, too!

Shopping this morning, dentist this afternoon. I'm having my bridge fitted. The most painful bit will be paying for it afterwards. :)

Have a good day all.

It’s a lovely sunny crisp morning here in Dublin. Michael and Kellie have arrived and are having their allowed iPad time. Kellie is much better but they are both quite tired after a later than normal bedtime last night. I will bring Michael to his golf later and try to keep Kellie occupied and happy ;) I am just about to make soup, using leftover pumpkin pulp - the pumpkin muffins Mr Osc made yesterday are delicious and the icing made with maple syrup is beyond gorgeous - Donal Skehan recipe. Might get some ironing done later if Kellie plays with the dolls house downstairs.

Good morning all :)

Ally I said the same this morning, the year is galloping past! Enjoy the holiday today - you too Jan! xxx

Morning Cruiser :)

Crommers you'll just have to eat them yourself :P ;) I decorated the front door, so had quite a few callers, but we still have a ton of Haribo left! Luckily I don't like them ;)

I'm glad Kellie is better Osc (((x)))

Vibes for {{{Nanna}}}

Well I was at the gym with Becky by 8.15 and am now in town, having a quick cuppa before walking up to see D. Pilates tonight

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Good Morning all from a very wet, dark and horrible morning in the Garden of England!!!
I feel like going back to bed as I have been awake since about 5am with a bad stomach and a stinking cold.
Hope Nanna and Manxie are feeling better.
I have to keep going as without me Don couldn't cope as he can`t drive or speak on the phone.
I am trying to show him how to order food etc on line in case I am taken ill but he has always had the outlook that if you don`t talk about it-it won`t happen. I am trying to convince him that we would be better living nearer our Son and Dil
but he loves our bungalow and the area we live in. Russ (son) is trying to talk to him about it but he won`t listen.
Have a good day.

Good morning all.

It's dry here, and rather cool. We've been into town this morning for a few odds and ends.

Hope you are all feeling well.

Remind me, if I'm ever stupid enough to say that we're going supermarket shopping on a holiday

They'd also moved things around and not told the signs, so people were walking around completely fuddled :cute: :cute:

And a lot of the shelving was empty

No butter, no wine
