Good morning Wednesday

Postby Ally » 07 Nov 2018, 06:02

Good morning.

Sunny and forecast 22 degrees which is nice enough for this time of year. :D

Off for a walk shortly then back to get ready and go to Paloma park market with Don. It's huge and a couple of stalls sell English books. :D :D

Work 6 - 9.

Have a good day everyone.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Wet - although not raining at the moment. Showers for tis morning. I love a wet November, normally means we'll have a lovely, crisp couple of months to look forward to :D

Off to Castro Verde early for the market. Need to get the veg plugs for the garden. Back to Ourique for the dentist - they rang yesterday and moved the appointment forward half an hour  Grumpy has a coupe of things to do whilst he's waiting for me.

Depending on how I feel afterwards, we'll do the shopping.

Back to do not a lot, although if it's dry. Grumpy will put the veg in. H turned it over the other day.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning all, the sun's starting to come out here after heavy rain.

I haven't been out yet with Bill for two reasons, it was hammering it down at 6am and I've injured myself. I stubbed my toe yesterday on the shower door (someone had left an empty shower gel bottle in there so I went in to get it and caught my foot on the door on the way out. Anyway, it's now very swollen and bruised so I'm trying to take it easy and rest it as much as possible and it doesn't feel quite so painful this morning.

I'm also waiting for a parcel for Joe.

Ally, good job you've got back-up in the shape of Don to help carry all the books you'll buy :P

Jan, which veg plugs are you getting? Hope all goes well at the dentists.

Have a good day all!

Morning all :)

Ally, that temperature sounds perfect for wandering around a market 8-) xx

Good luck at the dentist's Jan. I'm going on Friday :? xx

Jo, that sounds painful but rest is the best thing (((x)))

Osc, how is E today? xxx

I have an outpatients appointment at 11, so will be leaving the house in about an hour. It's absolutely teeming down here - I hope it eases off a bit by then, but not holding my breath :cute: I was planning on walking down to The Quays afterwards, to get some ideas for Christmas shopping but will see how it goes. Zumba tonight.

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning all

sorry for the radio silence the past few days... was away in Germany to visit mom as you know and not much time to get online there and then back at work and it's been busy with lots of people hovering around where I sit so don't really like to have my personal sites open :D

Hope everyone is well?

Oh ouch Jo, that sounds painful. Good idea to take it easy and maybe - if not already done - buddy strap it to keep it still?
Ally, enjoy the market and leave some books for the others :D
Jan good luck with the dentist and happy veg plant shopping; curious as well what you are planting?
Kaz, good luck to you also for your appointment and enjoy the C looking / mooching

Well a very very wet night and morning here, but thankfully settled to a very fine drizzle when I was leaving the house. It really was hammering it down at one point during the night.
A usual / usual for me today (I think). Nadine is working in London today and we usually meet up after work but haven't made plans as yet; so we'll see

have a lovely day all and vibes to those who need them xx

Morning all, it hammered it down during the night here too, so much so that I had to close the bathroom door at about 3.30 because of the noise the rain was making on the skylight. It has stopped now although there could be more later. Mr Osc is doing well, he had a shower this morning which was sort of fun :D The hand is quite achy this morning, which the nurse warned me about on Monday, she said he would need the painkillers after a couple of days. I'm going to the gym this morning, might go for coffee afterwards or might not. Miss Osc said she and Kellie might pop in this afternoon, Michael is going to a friend's house after school.

Right, better go and tidy up the place before I go out.

The market was bliss - hardly any-one around as we were so early. Bought some gert lush presunto and lovely cheese. Met Jan as we were going in and she told us the best place for presunto and cheese, so bought some :D <not been to that particular one before, so always handy to get the inside info.

Bought a couple of polygala myrtifolia, a lilac rose bush and a mother in laws tongue for inside.

Veg plants?

100 red onions
100 white onions
15 each of cauli, broccoli, cabbage. Will get more next month and also broad beans.

Grumpy is putting the onions in now, I can't help, my whole head throbs when I bend down

That's all the nasty work at the dentist now, just go back in a couple of weeks to get the crowns sorted.

Did the supermarket shopping - bravely   then treated us to a coffee and brandy on the way back ;)

the sun came out and it's been a lovely sunny day :Hi: :Hi:
