Morning Ally and everyone

Cloudy and sunny this morning. We're supposed to be sunny this morning and cloudy this afternoon

We'll be planting the rest of the veg and deciding where the plants are going. I know where one is going ;) On the bank, by the fence. It'll get to 2m high and we're also getting a red cape honeysuckle, so that can go next to it. That should sort out the view

Not sure about afterwards. I have some ironing and I'd really like Grumpy to finish off the outside tiling and stonework.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :)

You'll be ready for that meal, Ally :D

Hope you get your planting done Jan :)

It's raining again here, and windy! Got a busy day as I'm meeting one of the WW regulars for a cuppa at 10.30, in town, and am then going food shopping with D. We usually go on Fridays, but tomorrow is Mick's birthday so we're going out for the day, as per usual, and D is expecting a parcel, so she rang last night and asked if I wanted to go with her today. I don't have a number to contact the WW lady, so can't contact her to change our coffee date, so will be rushing about  Pilates tonight.

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Happy bonkers day #2 Ally! Hope the planting gets done without too much backache Jan. Enjoy your meet up Kaz.

A bit grey here but a lot better than yesterday. Physio this afternoon for me, Christine is ferrying her dad around and then her and her sister are meeting their cousin for a coffee this afternoon.

Have a good day everyone.

Morning all

Ally, hope bonkers day 2 goes OK and enjoy the dinner
Kaz, enjoy your coffee meet up and hope it's all not to much of a rush with the food shopping etc
Jan, happy planting. I need to sort a planting schedule and get things sorted... have two busy weekends ahead so not much chance to do anything outside sadly.
Crommers, good luck with the physio; hope that is all going well?

Usual work day today but going out for lunch with a colleague and a quick shop for a birthday gift. Nail appointment this evening so all in all should be a nice day :D

Have a lovely one everyone; ongoing vibes for those who need them xx

Morning all, looks dull out there but at least it is not raining. Mr Osc has an appointment with the hand therapy nurse at 14.30 to set out physio programme etc., all costing money but it has to be done. I was waiting for a parcel to be delivered, it has arrived now so I'm off for my shower.

Good morning all.

It's cloudy here, and it seems rain is likely. I'm not going out, though.

Hope you all have a nice day.

Morning all blue sky and sunshine here
I'm confused it was our blue bin day this morning and we now have a plastic bag to put stuff in cardboard glass cartons bottles so I presume we just put paper in the actual bin and then this plastic sack with the other stuff will ask my neighbour they are probably as confused as me (New rules)hope you all have a good day

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here 8-)

I sometimes wonder about the recycling Saundra, the instructions aren't always very clear. We have a bag for paper and cardboard, a bin for bottles, cartons and tins, another bin for general waste plus a food waste caddy. The paper bag apparently can't cope with certain types of card, if it's glittery or shiny I think. The tins, bottles, cartons bin can take some types of plastic but not all, we're always being told it can be contaminated by the wrong things but there's no clear list  The only one that's really clear is the food caddy, but we often see the bin men throwing it in with the general rubbish. Honestly I'm not surprised some people just don't bother

Weekly shopping day for us, M&S then Tesco.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Good afternoon all, it's just started raining here and is very windy.

I walked Billy first thing. My toe feels a little bit better this morning (albeit very bruised) and I found that wearing two pairs of socks helped, my wellies are so comfortable though so I found it quite easy to walk in those. They're not the usual rubber wellies but they're made from (I think, because I've never had any but I'm going from Amazon reviews here) the stuff that Crocs are made from and they're very light, very soft and lovely and warm. Since then I've been to Stafford as I needed some birthday presents and cards.

I forgot to warn Joe that the window cleaner was coming today and he was woken while I was out by a lot of noise on his bedroom window. He said he thought someone was trying to get in  They'd have to be very determined seeing as his room is on the second floor :P

Have a good day all!
