Good morning.

My lady wot does whatsapped me last night asking if she could come 'a bit earlier' today. No problem I said. She's just turned up at 7.30 am. :o Turns out she has a hospital appointment in Malaga at 11 o'clock so I'll forgive her.

Nail painting and pootling for me then homework club 4.30 - 6.30.

Meeting Don and the gang for Friday beers and tapas. Always look forward to that. :D :D

Happy birthday to M Kaz. xx

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Gorgeous morning, lovely blue sky 8-)

We have the bloke coming this morning to de-commission the solar stuff. If he can find a buyer for the stuff that still works, then good. If not, we'll have a lot of machinery and panels just sat sitting in the field

Hopefully, he won't bring his wife and I can then get on with curry making and sorting other stuff out. If he does, then I'll have to sit and chat

Will be doing gardening once they've gone. Make the most of a lovely day :D

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

That's one earlier cleaner Ally! I wish we had some of your sunshine Saundra, it's very dull here. Why are you getting rid of the solar stuff Jan?

In a while it's the big shop for next week and then Christine is shopping with our daughter then baby sitting this PM. Our son will be wanting to drive his car from Sunday, so I'll have to remember to top it up with petrol before then and put it through a car wash.

Have a good day everyone.

Good morning all, it's dull and windy here.

It's our 20th anniversary today. Blimey :o  No plans, apart from waiting for an Amazon delivery of some Christmas presents. Joe's in college all day and then has work from 5pm-10 and Tom's working from 3pm. Might pop to Ikea tonight if it rains as forecast. I fancy getting rid of the small shelving unit we have in here and replacing it with a side table. Need some tea lights too :P

Happy Birthday to M!

Saundra, I bet it's been a while since you had your hair cut!

How's your son doing Crommers?

Have a good day all!

It's almost 16 years old Crommers. The batteries are on their last legs, one already dead. It would cost about 7,000€ to replace them, which would take us another 15 years to recoup the cost.

Then the inverter took a hit during one of our thunderstorms earlier this year and nothing worked. Jonathan came up with the idea of just using the panels, for electricity when the sun is shining. The cost started off at 2,000€ then crept up to 3,500€  And the tracker is not tracking

As the panels only have another 5 to 10 years left in them, it's really not worth the cost.

So, very sadly, we've decided to bite the bullet and just use mains electric.

Happy Anniversary Jo :Hi: :Hi:

Happy Anniversary Jo x
Happy birthday to M.

E's got a dentist appointment this morning, hence we're up early. Afterwards we need to pop into town for a few bits and to pick up our holiday money.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning all :)

Thanks very much for the birthday wishes for Mick, we're having a day out in Cheltenham to look at an art exhibition at The Wilson, then a bite to eat, but right now we are sat in the dentist waiting room as I have an appointment for tooth cleaning! I forgot it was his birthday when I made the appointment

Have a great day everyone xxx
