Good morning Saturday

Postby Ally » 17 Nov 2018, 06:25

Good morning.

Cloudy sunshine forecast. :D 8-)

Off for a good walk round our hilly streets.

Jacob stopped over again last night and Conor's coming over at noon and the four of us are going out for lunch. :D :D

We're going to Jose's to watch the Malaga game and there's rugby on too. :D

Probably pick up a campero on the way home this evening. :D

Have a good day everyone.

Morning Ally, WM and everyone

Sunshine and clouds this morning, wet stuff this afternoon.

Car mechanic coming up sometime this morning - well, this is Portugal   - to give the car the once over and decide what needs to be done and if he can do it. What's good about this is, apart from the fact he's a good friend of a good friend, and therefore highly recommended, is that he'll either do what needs to be done here or take it away and bring it back :D Much better than having to go to Ourique or Aldeia de Palheiros and then either wait for the car or get friends to ferry us back and forwards.

I'm stick hunting this morning, in next doors field, before it gets too wet.

Depending on the weather is depending on what we'll be doing later. Staying in by the fire, I think 8-)

Curry for dinner.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning everybody.
WM, I am always up early. Have always been an early riser. Now have a siesta most days.
It is bright and sunny. Have been out forthe paper and some shopping.
Am now chief cook and bottle washer. My wife had a fall in the bedroom on Tuesday. No bones broken. Just pain in her back when she gets up or turns.
Have a good day everybody

Morning all, it's dull here but dry. We are looking after Kellie today as Michael is going to a football day organised by his daddy, and mummy is going along to help out. We will bring her to her dancing class, then to a nearby shopping centre so she can buy a present for Michael's birthday. Then back here for the rest of the day. So that will keep us busy!

Sorry to see about MrsC's fall Cruiser, is she using arnica or something like Biofreeze to help with the soreness!

Good morning everybody. The sun is out here, so nice for a doggy walk.
Quilting this afternoon and maybe dancing this evening if we feel up to it.
Have a good day everyone x

Walking wounded here too   Picking up boughs of dead oak and one smacked me right on the left ankle, the one with all the bells and whistles  Hobbled a bit, but carried on, as you do

Maria and Joana have turned up to pick the olives. Back breaking work that. We only have 6 feasible olive trees, so we're letting them have the olives. They'll also pick from Judy and Carlos.

Might even get a little oil next year ;)

Clouded over but warm ish.

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here 8-)

On a count down to our holiday now, did I mention we're going away ;) We don't actually fly until Friday, but will be leaving home Thursday lunchtime. Our flight is very early so we prefer to get there the night before, at least that way we get a decent nights sleep.

Having to be very organised this year, the Christmas cards are all done, only need posting when we get back. Same with the pressies, they'll just need wrapping. We're even planning to get the outside lights sorted today, obviously they won't actually get switched on before we go, but it's another job done. Tomorrow we'll get the decorations and tree down from the loft, it will be lovely to come back home to find everything ready. No point in going away for a relaxing break if we come back to a mad rush

Hope you all have a good day :D

Good afternoon all, it's sunny here after a misty and wet start. There a definite chill in the air though!

I was a bit later taking Billy this morning as it was raining when we normally go. It was 7.30 when we got out and I didn't think there'd be many around as it was still drizzly but by the time we'd got further on it was getting to the time that the off-the-lead-once-a-week dogs were being walked. The owners do nothing to control them, I had a large GSD run at me with a three foot long branch in it's mouth. It was bouncing around at me, whacked my legs with the branch and Bill wasn't at all impressed - the owner just shouted "he's only playing!"

We're off to Stafford shortly and then we'll call in to see my parents. My Dad's already called asking John to have a look at his security light for him when we go so it's just assumed that we'll be seeing them. I wasn't actually planning to go today.

Have a good day all!
