This is a first for me.... up this early!

Insomnia!

It is dark, but judging by the stars the sky is clear, and it's mild again.

I hope everyone has a good day and keeps fit and well. I'll try and doze sometime in the morning, then go for a walk.

Morning WM, morning everyone

Grey. And wet. And going to be wetter  :Hi: :Hi:

Enjoy your walk WM, we're staying in and doing not a lot. depending on the wind, we might be able to watch some rubbish on the television or he'll just have to get some films out. I'll read and rest my poor feet.

I ran :o down the drive yesterday, wearing daps, and the stones, which I didn't really feel at the time, have certainly made my feet sore

Might have curry for dinner, might have chicken presunto. Will see what we feel like later.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning all, it’s sunny with a chilly wind here.

Bill’s had a walk, John’s gone out on his bike and Joe’s leaving for work in a minute. I’m about to do some ironing and I might look at giving the lawns a last cut later. I’m not sure what the plans are for this afternoon but me and John are having a walk down to town tonight, we’ll find a nice pub to spend a couple of hours in. I’d say we’d have a look at the Christmas lights which were switched on a few days ago but it’s been a pretty feeble effort this year apparently and for a town best known for its nearby forest, there isn’t even a tree this year!

Enjoy seeing your visitors Saundra!

Hope you get out for a walk Frank, it’s perfect walking weather here today :)

Jan, we resorted to an old film last night which we’d seen countless times before - The Breakfast Club.

Have a good day all :D

Morning all!

Blimey Frank, you're an early bird ;)

Hope your feet feel better later Jan - ouch! xx

Enjoy your visitors Saundra :) xx

Jo our grass was more than ankle deep, but Mick managed to cut it yesterday for what was hopefully the last time this year! xx

It's a beautiful frosty sunny day here! We're out enjoying the sunshine in the Quays again, my third go at the Victorian Market - they should just stick a costume on me and have done with it :P We're having a cuppa first, but both Mick and I are enjoying the fact that the longer timescale of 11 days instead of 4 this year has meant smaller crowds 8-)

I will finally be able to get my Spring bulbs in this afternoon, and then that will be the garden "put to bed" for the winter 8-)

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Afternoon all. Gosh, it's the afternoon already  It is bright and sunny here, but quite breezy and when you go in the shade, the wind is cold. We went for a stroll this morning and were glad of our woolly hats and gloves. I've got two lots of washing done, and also ordered some books online as Christmas presents. I'll possibly do some ironing in a while. Roast pork for dinner :)
