Good Morning Monday

Postby JoM » 19 Nov 2018, 06:33

Good morning all, not sure what the weather’s doing today! It’s too dark to see yet.

I’m just heading out of the door with Bill. I’ve got an Amazon delivery of a 12kg bag of dog food coming sometime and also a couple of parcels to pick up from the post office.

Have a good day all!

Morning all :)

Ally, Jo, you both posted a GM thread within seconds of each other, so I merged them :D

Enjoy your walk Ally :)

Jo, it's gloomy here, and the forecast is for cold this week :cute:

I have the WW meeting, then coffee with my friends, as it's Monday again. I need to buy a wedding gift, as Mick and I are going to a wedding reception on Saturday evening, so I'll be looking around for that afterwards.

Happy birthday to Michael, Osc! :D :D

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Good morning all, it's not very nice here, very windy and cold with water coming over the harbour wall. We were up very early as Miss Osc and SIL had a parent/teacher meeting in Michael's school at 8am, so asked us to help out. Thank you for remembering Michael's birthday! He got a little laptop and his daddy set up an email account for him, so he is enjoying adding us all to his contact list! We will go back there this evening for an early dinner and birthday cake. Hard to believe he is 9

When we got home, Mr Osc had a letter approving his fuel allowance and free tv licence, the gas bill will benefit by €35 a month and the saving on the licence is €160 - some benefits to being 70  Off to shower now and then going to the gym. I should really do some ironing this afternoon.

Morning everyone

Cloudy, sunny, cloudy, wet. But warm

Happy Birthday to Michael :Hi:

Had a lie-in, couldn't see the point of getting up too early, then running out of things to do  I have the oven to clean - was roasting garlic along with the potatoes yesterday and the garlic exploded   Made heck of a mess

We're going to go down to the battery store when it's dry, to find some brass knobs. We have to open the shutters by pulling on the slats, and trying to get fingers in  So knobs it is, if we can find some.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all.

Dull, no wind, no rain, no fog, just boring.

But as it is *smas I am treating myself...... to a new shed. :o Eat yer heart out Cromwell. ;) :D :D

This one will be metal with middle doors and a flat roof and electric power. Got to dismantle the old one fist, but a slight nudge with my little finger should do the job - there's more stain than wood in the thing it has been painted so many times.

Morning all :D

Overcast and showers here.

Managed to get all the decs down from the loft and the house is looking very festive. I know, I know, it's way too early, but it will be so nice to come home to. Plan to go through all our holiday stuff today, just to make sure we haven't forgotten anything. Can't believe how organised I am this year

Hope you all have a good day :D

Bill's food has just been delivered, in a huge box, to much excitement from him. He'll now expect every box that comes here to contain food  The parcels I need to pick up from the post office have been delivered too so I'll get those later. They were also from Amazon but I was avoiding having to hang around waiting all day....and then I saw that Bill's food was on offer and when I'd ordered that (which couldn't be collected at the PO) it was too late to change the delivery instructions on the other things.

Kaz, the BBC app was saying sleet or Wednesday but it's now changed to rain. What do they know though? It's just rained here despite the app not forecasting it.

Gorgeous morning here now 8-) Quite warm too.

Oven now cleaned, more weeds dug up, but it's too wet to do any more, I just wanted to get up those that grown into bushes, if left

Molly very kindly left us a present this morning. A rabbit   I was watering the new plants, cuttings and there it was   Grumpy has thrown it into next doors field.

Jo, Molly is the same. If she she's a small white plate, she thinks there's a treat on there for her, like cut up chicken
