Yesterday's rain was a measly few showers and more of the same forecast today.

Off for a walk/run with Don....he's decided he'll be my trainer a couple of times a week.

Off to Ourique later, to do our normal run around and try and get everything done in one trip. Will pop into the centre do saúde and see if the flu jabs are in yet, then it's the normal shopping at Pongo and back home.

The rain here is a nuisance as I have to go to Cheltenham to the dentists today, and wanted to do some Christmas shopping whilst there. I probably still will, but it would be much nicer if it was dry My appointment isn't until 3.30 so I'll catch a bus over later and play it by ear. Zumba tonight.

Good morning, it's pretty miserable here, mostly raining and we had some terrible rain last night too. We were expecting an Argos delivery today between 12-6 but I got a phone call about 7.45 saying it would be here around 9am and checking exactly where we are, and it arrived bang on 9am. It's a 3/4 size table tennis table that we bought Michael for his birthday and we will keep it here. Needless to say, the big child in the house insisted it be unpacked, and we've had a few practice games......just to make sure it's ok Some books I had ordered were delivered too, all Christmas presents, so I feel I've made a start. One was for Michael and someone gave it to him for his birthday so that will have to be returned

I had already decided not to go to the gym today after a very busy few days, so we will do the supermarket shop this morning and just relax for the rest of the day. I'll get on with knitting Kellie's sweater.

We had a good day yesterday, the film was great, really enjoyed it. Afterwards we walked round to the Toby Carvery (just behind the cinema) for a late lunch, early dinner, yummy It really was freezing though, will have to get my big winter coat out ready for when we get back.

Good luck at the dentist Kaz. We've done most of the pressie shopping now, just some vouchers to get and that's it.

It's operation packing here, want to get everything sorted and the house tidied. We don't get picked up until 1pm tomorrow, but I don't want any last minute panics, I always manage to forget something or other

Good morning all, it's dull and cold here. Just looking at the window and it's started to rain.

I've walked Billy and then walked to town for some shopping. I picked up a Christmas present for my friend's teenage son while I was browsing. I'm getting there. I ordered a new parcel shelf for Joe's car as a surprise as he keeps saying that he wants one (his is missing) and I've just had an email to say it's been delivered so John needs to pick it up from Argos in Lichfield. He's not having a big present as he wanted money for his car insurance instead but I still need to get him some things to open so this will do for a start.

Hope all goes well at the dentist, Kaz!

Fingers crossed the flu vaccines are in now Jan.
