Good morning Sunday

Postby Ally » 25 Nov 2018, 06:11

Good morning.

Forecast sunny, cloudy and 19 degrees.

Had a lovely evening with Don and the boys last night. They both stayed over. :D

We're all going into Malaga on the 11.50 bus - Jacob to go home and the rest of us to Morriseys to watch the Villa - Blues game. :D

Conor will then go home and we'll get the bus back to ours to go and watch the Malaga game in Jose's. :D

A takeaway of some description is on the cards.

Have a great day.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Dull, grey and not that warm at the moment. More rain is forecast. Had a heck of a lot last night

Due to the waterlogged garden, I will just have to get the cleaning done today  ;) Considering I trained in hotels, cleaning is one job I can't get up much enthusiasm for

So that's the plan for today and the bbq is cancelled, we'll just have to have pork steak cooked on the griddle instead.

Hope Nadine managed to get home yesterday and Dave is up and about.

How's your ankle Aggers?

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

\morning ally and Jan. I'm glad you had a good night with the boys Ally and I hope your weather picks up Jan.

It's better than ours anyway, it's 99 shades of grey here atm.

The blinking tap that was "fixed" yesterday has broken again! In general, new stuff doesn't seem to last as long now. I can never remember a tap breaking when I was growing up but we've had three go in the last couple of years.

Roast chicken for dinner, strictly results later and a bottle of red may (will!) be opened.

I hope Nadine and D are getting on OK. Have a good day all.

Morning all, we are getting ready for our overnight to Waterford, the train is at 2pm. We are looking forward to the little break. It was raining earlier, but has cleared up now and the sun is peeping through.

The sun is now out :Hi: :Hi:

We have sheep munching away in the field 8-)

If it's dry tomorrow, which it should be, we'll squelch our way to the olive trees and give 'em a shake. :D

Morning all and happy Sunday

You couldn't make it up Jan, but no - she's still in hospital. They are insisting they do an echocardiogram before releasing her but she's now been waiting for this ruddy test since Friday. So she's just sitting there twiddling thumbs. She's fed up and so are we, but no where near as much as she is and as today is Sunday there is not a chance that the test will be today.... beyond beyond frustrating. And worst is that because of previous plans I wasn't able to go to visit her yesterday and today it's engineering works on the rails so the journey is taking over an hour; so Nadine said not to worry. Provided the trains are OK tomorrow morning I'll leave a lot earlier and bring her some decent breakfast and then go to work.

sigh...

That's as much cleaning as I'm doing today. The flu jab is making itself known

I'll vacuum and mop the floors tomorrow, when it's supposed to be better, weather wise.

Just watching a family of rather large eagles, circling high up in the sky, over next doors animals 8-)

Good afternoon all.
Hope you are all well.

Thanks for asking., Jan. It's still about the same. My doctor sent me to the hospital the other day,
and they gave me an Xray and said that there was no damage to the bones, but that it would probably
be about eight weeks before the muscular pains subsided, and there was not much I could do about it.
My wife does have have an electric chair that I can use if I need to, although I can hobble about a bit.
We are going on a coach trip to a "Christmas Music Hall" in Nottingham tomorrow, so I am hoping there
will not be much walking involved.
