Whoop whoop

Postby meriad » 25 Nov 2018, 13:23

And she's on her way home.

Nadine threw a bit of a strop last night and at the cardio consultant this morning and surprise surprise the Echocardiogram was done and she's been allowed home. I think it took her about 10 minutes (if that) to chuck all her stuff into her bag and run as fast and as far as she could :-D

So yay... a very relieved all of us and super happy and excited kids

Excellent news! Sometimes you just have to make yourself heard to get a result!

Any idea yet what's been wrong?

Nope - none the wiser

It's actually quite farcical.... Nadine threw her strop on Saturday; Sunday morning cardiologist consultant swings by to have another look and finally gets the Echo arranged. The lady who was doing the Echo was muttering and tuttering about why so urgent so Nadine told her she'd been waiting since Thursday night; lady was quite astounded as Sunday morning was the first request she apparently had. Anyway; during said cardio consultant visit he's now querying the blood results and starts muttering to himself; given the abnormal variations in the readings he's quite convinced that they mixed up the bloods and that the really high levels actually belong to someone that was in for heart issues; but not Nadine. You just couldn't make it up could you?

Oh well... Nadine is now home and she's going to get her private medical in place and will then have various private follow ups in her own time. She's not happy about the fluid in the abdomen which the gynae consultant just said was nothing to worry about and thankfully at her work she can have regular blood test done so will do them to keep an eye on levels etc.

All a bit very very odd
