Good morning Ally, Cloudy but some blue sky. It is cold Have walked for the paper. Am going to the bank and shopping later. Then just pottering. Have a good day everybody
Will finish off the cleaning this morning and if the ground is not too wet, will shake the olive trees. Not going to collect all of them, too time consuming, too much like hard work. Will let Jose Felipe know and he can help himself.
Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx
Good morning all, it's sunny now after a wet start.
I've had two hours out with Bill in the drizzle. He had a lovely run around the golf course, chasing gulls away. Tom's working later and Joe's in college this afternoon. I want to get some Christmas presents wrapped at some point.
We had a lovely, and busy, weekend. Shannon came to stay and she and Tom took me out for breakfast yesterday morning which was lovely, then once John came home from his bike ride we all went to Stafford. As we had Bill with us we found a dog friendly pub to sit in and chat, then had a mooch around the shops - I'd told S about the wonderful candle shop there so she went in and treated herself. We got a Christmas tree from Wilko too. I'd spotted them on Friday but couldn't bring it on the bus. It's a real potted one and about 3ft tall, I'll put some lights on it and have it outside the front door. I'd seen some the same at the garden centre down the lane a couple of weeks ago and they were £25, the one from Wilko was £10!
I'd better catch up on housework today! I've got washing to hang out now the rain's stopped. I need to be sneaky when Joe goes to college and block the footpath, where he usually parks, with the bins (it's bin day tomorrow). The girlfriend of one of the twins two doors down always seems to be there on Monday evenings and parks there leaving Joe nowhere to park on the close when he gets back from college - if they didn't have 9 vehicles between four of them there might be somewhere to park by the house she's visiting! Hey ho.
Morning all, we are on the train waiting to leave on our way back to Dublin. We had a lovely night away, we had dinner in the hotel which was delicious. Then we went to the show which was the purpose of our trip - it was a great night, we really enjoyed it. Super breakfast in the hotel this morning, then a short walk to the station. MR Osc has another appointment with the hand therapist this afternoon so we will pick up some lunch somewhere before that. Early to bed tonight I think!
Morning all. We had an early start, up to take FiL to his 8.45am eye appointment. Christine is now over at his and will do him his dinner before going to visit our son.
I need a couple of bits so may as well nip off now and get them.
Have a good day all.

Greetings all - seriously these busy work mornings aren't good for my personal life no time for myself
