Beautiful morning Chilly right now, but will be warming up nicely later

We're off to Santa Luzia this morning, to get wood Grumpy is going to male the framework for the doors in the utility room. He spent most of yesterday, working out what/how because the wood shops here are nothing like the wood shops he's used to And they don't sell the wood he wants, so has to compromise

Back to put the washing out and I might be able to get some weeding done on the veggie plot.

It's mine and Mick's anniversary today, our 14th, and I got a lovely bunch of flowers

Happy Anniversary Kaz and Mick!

Good morning all. It's foggy here with heavy rain forecast for later. Joe's in college all day and Tom has the day off. Hopefully he'll be packing as he and Shannon go to Berlin tomorrow, I say hopefully because I know how much he procrastinates and I can see him starting five minutes before Shannon's Dad comes to pick him up for the airport in the morning He'd probably also decide at that point that something needed washing and that he'd have time to just pop out to buy some new shoes too

Ah well, change of plan again. Grumpy has decided that we'll get the wood on Friday, a the car is going on Saturday and he'll need something to do.

So annoying, as I'd put off putting the washing in, as we can't get the car out if there is washing on the line

Still, I'll just have to carry on now.

Jo, as long as Tom takes his passport, tooth brush and at least one clean pair of underpants he'll be fine - how long are they going for? It's such an amazing city to explore, hope they enjoy it

Same as everywhere else it seems... cold and nippy today. Apparently we're due lots of wind, rain and just horrid stuff as the day goes on... yuk!

Afternoon all, it was a totally miserable wet day, but the rain has stopped for the moment. We are both tired after a busy day yesterday, and I have so much to do that I don't know where to start. Mr Osc has just started to make some scones and I will make soup when he has finished. There is ironing to be done and bathrooms to be cleaned I suppose I had better make a start.
