Good morning Friday

Postby Ally » 30 Nov 2018, 03:35

Good morning.

Up at sparrow o'clock to go to the airport to pick up a friend (I must love him!) who is flying in from Australia.

It should just be getting light when I get home so I'll go for a run.

Dealz mid morning to stock up on 'bits' then back home to pootle.

Homework club then meeting Don and the gang for Friday beers and tapas. :D :D

Have a good day everyone.

(An extra hug for Don as it's a year today his mum passed away.) xx

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Grey. Just grey

A hug for Don from me Ally, please xx

Off to the bar, to get some rolls and wake up coffee

Back to a cooked breakfast and then ironing. And whatever else I can find to do. Grumpy has a list of things - he made the list, not me ;) - so he can make a start on that. Mostly outside stuff, but some inside.

Back down to the bar later, our last night of freedom, until the car comes back.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :)

Hugs for ((((Don)))), Ally xxx

Enjoy your last night out until the car gets back Jan xxx

Well I don't want to tempt fate, but it looks a lot brighter here this morning. We've had a shocking few days of high winds and torrential rain, so fingers crossed!

I want to go to town, to pick up some knitting wool for D - little Poppy has grown out of all the cardies she knitted for her. She's such a beautiful, sweet natured little one, and trying hard to crawl, it was lovely to have cuddles while they were staying with D 8-) :D I'm out tonight, it's the Pilates group Christmas meal :) Looking forward to that 8-)

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning all, it's a nice bright morning here, thank goodness. Gym this morning, and we might go dancing tonight. We're a bit concerned about Mr Osc's finger, when he was doing his exercises this morning the wound oozed stuff through the dressing. I phoned the surgeon's office and left a message as we are not keen to change the dressing ourselves. So Mr Osc is waiting for a call back to see what they say, his next appointment is Monday. He is planning to meet his friends for a cuppa when they finish their golf game, I might drive him there when I get back from the gym, unless he decides to walk or get the bus.

Good morning all.

It's a lovely sunny morning here, but I haven't any plans for going out, as we have an important Accounts Meeting here at 11.0 am.

Hope you are all O.K.

The bread man was rather late, so only just had breakfast   Amazing the amount of people we saw, as we were waiting.

Sun breaking through now, so hopefully, a lovely day, as was forecast ;)

Wish I could buy books Ally :D

Didn't bother with the ironing, too nice outside, so I've been shifting large stones and plants. And weeding

We're in for a lovely week, weatherwise 8-)

Morning all... OK afternoon all.

(((Don)))

TV has been playing up so I have just fitted a new aerial (£14.99 from Screewfix). It is only about a foot long but it sucks in 138 stations, up from 97
- 36 audio and 102 TV.

Off for a play! Need to find a good TV guide to see what all these new channels are showing. 8-)

Good afternoon everybody.
We have had strong winds and short periods ofvery heavy rain yesterday and in the night. Have blue skies now.
A busy day. Shopping thois morning Then took a new piece of carpet to be shortened and the edge bound. It was in the kitchen and it was very hard to open and close the door. Now the door does not go over it. Only cost £5.00. Done while we waited.
Then back home to do ironing. It included six shirts.
Now relaxing.
May write some cards tonight. Have made a list as some have to be posted to America and germany.
