Goooood morning. :x :x

Just back from a 12km coastal walk with Don - my word it's warm! 8-)

I'm going to sit in the garden reading for a couple of hours. :)

Happy birthday E. :D

Today would've been Con's 70th birthday. Don said to me yesterday as it's 7 years now since he passed away it really brings it home how 62 was and is no age.

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning, it's a nice pleasant morning here although it looks breezy. We are being lazy, got up a bit late and still to have our showers. No plan for the day except the basket of ironing is looking reproachfully at me.....but I can usually ignore it  We bought some Christmas tree baubles for Michael and Kellie that can have photos put in them so we need to choose some photos and print them off, as they will be decorating our tree on Thursday. Have a good day, everyone :)

Happy birthday E. Living abroad Jan and Ally you are able to enjoy the outdoors a lot more than we are, especially at this time of year. I do envy that.

toast and tea soon, then we need to go on a recce to find the pub where we are going for the club Christmas dinner. It's the other side of Barnsley which is like the far side of the moon to me!

Roast chicken later. I'm glad you're enjoying Cuba Jen.

Have a good day all.

Good morning all.

We've started our Christmas decorations this morning, by putting up and decorating the Christmas Tree.
We do so love Christmas.

Have a nice day, whatever you are doing.

Happy birthday to E, Jen :D xx

Waves to everyone! :D :D

It's sort of sunny here, but it looks like rain in the distance  We're out having brunch, then picking up the papers :) Becky was out with friends last night, and crept in, in the early hours, but seems to be none the worst for it! Oh to have 23 year old kidneys again..... :?  Lamb chops for dinner tonight 8-) 8-)

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Greetings all and wishing everyone a lovely 1st Advent Sunday. I was meant to get some of the Christmas stuff out and up but just haven't had the va va voom. This year has just gone far to fast and I don't feel Christmassy / Decemberish at all.

Happy birthday to E, I hope you both have a wonderful day
62 really is no age at all Ally ((hugs))

and again apologies from me for not posting much; work has been rather busy the past few weeks and come the evenings and weekends I just don't want to be spending more time in front of a computer. Next week Monday - Wednesday will be busy days again but after that hopefully all will calm down again and return to as normal as can be.

Little to report my side so hope everyone here is well and enjoy the rest of the weekend xx

I can't believe how quickly December has come round again. :x :x Although unlike you Ria I'm feeling very festive...perhaps your va va voom will kick in soon. xx

It's a National holiday here next Thursday and Saturday and the Spanish, in their perpetual any excuse for a shindig mode, will take the Friday off too as a puente. (bridge)

So I have 3 days at work next week then off till the following Monday. We've booked a night in a hotel in Malaga on the Friday so will spend 2 whole days there. The lights were switched on on Friday and I'm looking forward to seeing them.

Good afternoon everybody,
Arrived home just before 4.00 p.m.
I was up early 6.30 a.m.so I could miss the traffic and get a good parking spot. I have been checking tickets before passengers get on Santa Specials at a Railway Preservation Society. The trains are always full. Booking usually starts in January when the event calender is produced.
So now relaxing.
Will start on the cards an put the deorations up on Wednesday.
