Good morning all, I’m currently standing on the common while Bill has a good sniff around.

There’s washing to hang out when I get back and then I’m going to pop to Stafford. I’ve got yesterday’s washing to iron, some of it’s hanging up to dry in the airing cupboard as it hadn’t fully dried on the line. Both lads are working this evening.

Have a good day all!

Morning both. I have just dropped Christine off at our daughters to look after Eliza. I need to put a curtain rail up today.
By gum, it's dark at half past six in the morning!
Have a good deal all.

Isn't it just, Cromwell? A couple of weeks ago I could turn my torch off midway through the walk - now I'm needing it for the whole walk.

It's light enough to see now that it's a grey day.

Morning all :)

Have a lovely pootle Ally :)

Good luck in Stafford Jo, I hope it isn't too crowded ;)

Morning Crommers - I hate these really dark mornings  Poor B was out in the dark, to catch her bus!

Going to the Quays to meet my friend Trisha for a cuppa. Might get my hair cut afterwards 8-) Zumba tonight, if I can drag myself out to it

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning everyone

Foggy start, so we had coffee in bed

It's slowly lifting and another grey ish day is forecast

We're off on a jolly as soon as the fog is gone. Down to the Algarve 8-) Visiting a garden centre first, then Leroy Merlin (think B &Q but bigger) for all sorts of stuff, nightlights, wood, then onto the Algarve shopping bit where there are some lovely moochy shops. De Borla, Casa. I'm looking for a bathroom mirror for the new shower room and some picture tiles for the outside walls.

Then onto Iceland, which is a sort of Waitrose, dealing in all thingy English food :D :D :D Sausage, bacon, pork pies, decent cheese :D :D Good job we haven't got the bill for the cr yet, might put a stop to the spending

Will stop for coffee on the way back and will, no doubt, be having something like sausage and chips for dinner :D

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good day everyone.

Been into town this morning for a few odds and ends. It's a bit on the cold side.

A few more Christmas decorations to go up this afternoon.

Keep dancing!

Afternoon all, it has finally stopped raining, it was a miserable morning. I was at the gym earlier and now have to motivate myself to do the supermarket shop. My sister and I had a nice day in Cork yesterday, although it rained relentlessly all day. We saw one of our nieces and her little boy, and were delighted to learn that she is pregnant again. I finally got home around 9.30pm, very very tired, and it was early to bed for me!

Greetings all

Why is the run-up to Christmas always so busy in the office? :(
Saundra, fingers crossed that it's not the cellulitis again, I really hope the nurse is right ((hug))
Osc, how lovely congratulations
Jan, hope you left something in the shops for everyone else

Well, the good news regarding these dark mornings is that next week Friday is the shortest day of the year so from there it'll be onward and upwards to longer days again - yay. Something to look forward to :D

Meeting up with an ex colleague after work tonight. He lives over two hours away so we usually have one beer / glass of wine and then rush to get our next respective trains so it's always a lovely quick meet up with him :D

Enjoy the rest of the day everyone
