Good morning Sunday

Postby Ally » 23 Dec 2018, 06:30

Good morning.

Another warm and sunny day forecast. 8-)

We're off to Torremolinos flea market this morning - we haven't been to this one on a Sunday for years but mum and dad went when they were over in October and said it was fab. :D Lots of books too. :D

Don's making a roast chicken dinner (I've peeled the spuds  ) with all the trimmings and tonight I'll light my spicy Christmassy candles, lay out some snacky goodies, snuggle up with my chef and we're going to watch a film. :) :)

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning Ally, that sounds like a good day.
I've not slept well, I'm now properly full of cold. I hope it isn't the nasty version that some people around here have had.
It's very dark outside and raining hard.
I need to go and get some last minute Christmas food and after that it's going to be an indoor day!

Have a good one everybody.

Morning all :)

Ally, sounds good to me :D

Oh heck Crommers, I hope your cold isn't a bad one :o

Busy-ish day here, Mick and I will be out for the papers and a cuppa in a while, but I've already got the washing machine on, stripped the bed, Mick will clean the oven for me later, B's job is to bath the dogs then clean the bathroom, and I'll have a last Hoover round and steam the floors. I don't want to have anything to do tomorrow other than a bit of food prep ;) Something easy from the freezer for dinner I reckon :D

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Good morning everybody.
It was raining hard when I went for the paper and took a card to push through a letter box and then filled up the car with petrol.
Like Kaz, we will be cleaning the oven today. Only use the small top one so should n't take too long.
Have a good d ay everybody.

Morning everyone

Chilly start but expecting 20C later   :D 8-) It actually got to 25C yesterday 8-) 8-)

Hope your cold isn't too bad Crommers, mine has cleared, apart from the odd sneeze and the residue

Had a slow stroll around the garden yesterday and will attempt some weeding later. The few weeds I pulled didn't have too much earth stuck to them.

Pork loin and sausages on the bbq later 8-) Never cooked sausages on a bbq before, so should be interesting ;)

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning all.

I got up at 6 to walk Bill as the rain wasn't forecast to start until around 8 when I checked last night but it was already pouring so I read for a bit and then had another hour's sleep.

Joe's working 10-4.30, I don't envy him doing his trolley job in this weather but then he does other things in the shop too and also it's one of those new Tesco stores which has been built up a level with a car park below it so I'd guess a lot will park underneath today. He starts at 7am tomorrow, it's very rare for him to see that time of day

John, Tom and Shannon will be back from Wales this evening. I don't think Shannon's staying tonight as she's working tomorrow.

Cromwell, I hope you're over that cold soon xx

Hope you find lots of good books Ally :D

Right, time to crack on with cleaning while there's no one littering up the house :D

Have a good day all!

Morning all, it's a dreary wet day here too. I'll be going out to collect the turkey soon, nothing else to buy. Then I need to tackle the ironing and get as much done as I can, to get it out of the way. Mr Osc will be putting a small ham into the slow cooker to feed us today and tomorrow. I cleaned our oven yesterday *angelic smiley"

Morning all :)

It's been raining, but the sun's trying to come out now, wonder how long it will last.

Hope your cold clears soon Crommers.

We had our Sunday dinner yesterday so it's cold chicken with bubble and squeak for dinner later. Nothing much planned, need to whizz round the bungalow, but that's it.

Hope you all have a good day Image
