8-) 8-)

Grumpy has really struggled with this blasted cold today, headed off to bed early this afternoon, just to lie on the bed and read and doze.

When he got up, we had a wander around the garden, deciding on new plans. Had a sit on one bench, then another.

Sat in the sun until it got a little cooler, so we came inside.

Could he find his slippers :o :o  Nope. Not nowhere, not to be seen.

We looked in the utility room, where shoes are kept. Nada. I looked out the back terrace , just in case. Nope. Checked the bedroom floor. Zilch. (apart from dust    ).

So started looking at things off the wall. Checked the fridge (yes, I have put odd things in there before    ) checked the lounge and the other bedrooms again. Even looked inside the laundry basket and the wardrobes.

Not a sign.

We worked out that yesterday, he was wearing them before Mitchell came up and then changed into shoes, as we were sitting outside, so they really should be in the utility room. I looked for the fourth time

The I Had A Brainwave :D :D

They were in the little space at the end of the mattress, on the bed.  He'd been wearing them when he went for a lie-down and they'd fallen off

Every sympathy with Grumpy ….. :)

I have the same problem with losing socks. Quite how a pair recently finished up on top of the dresser in the living room, I have no idea! :?

I have the same problem with many things.

Short-term memory loss is a common problem with advancing years. I should know !!!
