Good Morning Friday

Postby JoM » 04 Jan 2019, 07:44

Good morning all, I’m just gone with Billy - it’s another chilly one!

No plans apart from housework today! I need to pick up a glass candle holder I’ve ordered from M&S too. I saw it in Stafford the other day but didn’t think I could get it home without damaging it as I’d got a couple of heavy bags  so I’ve ordered it to be collected from their food store on the retail park down by the M6 Toll.

Have a good day all!

Morning Jo, and everyone :)

It's absolutely freezing here too! Mick's just taken our two out. Pepper went to work with Becky yesterday, she was at the tiny local branch again and the staff there often take their dogs in. Peps has been before and loves all the fuss and treats she gets there. B is there again today, but hasn't taken Pepper as the vet is bringing his puppy in for the day.

I'll be walking into town in a while, for the steps and also to have a quick cuppa with a friend from WW :) I'm not as stiff from last night's Pilates as I thought I would be 8-)

Have a good day! :) Xxx

Morning Jo, Kaz and everyone

The mist has lifted and it's a gorgeous morning. Chilly, but will warm up later.

Going to do the things we couldn't do yesterday. I really need to get my weeding head on and do the plants beds on the bank and finish off the one's in the garden. Only to start all over again in a couple of weeks    But it does look good now, really pleased with all our hard work.

Might pop down to the bar later, might not.

How is Lee doing Crommers?

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all - rather nippy here as well but a crisp cold which is nice (and means no ice on the car). I left my phone at home (either that or it fell out when my handbag topped over in the car) and I hate being without it. How did we ever cope before? I feel really lost not having it.

Jan; your garden is looking amazing and your hard work really can be noticed.
Jo, good thinking re the glass candle holder. Don't overdo the HW ;-)
Kaz enjoy the walk and the coffee
Crommers, hope Lee is better?

Friday = lunch day; mixed grill type stuff today from a place called Carbon. Hoping for a relaxed Friday

Have a lovely day all. Ongoing vibes for all our poorly friends; hope you're all feeling better soon; wrap up warm x

He's improving Ria, thanks. I hope you find your phone soon.

Morning everyone. MrsC and I are supposed to be going for an Italian meal this lunchtime, which will be nice if we make it. She's had to shoot off to our daughters.

Cold here too.

Have a good day all.

Good morning all, didn't make it in here yesterday, the day got away from me. It is very dark and dreary, but dry. We had the children all day yesterday, Kellie was not 100% so she had an easy day, Michael got an unexpected invite to play with a friend so I dropped him to the friend's house around 2pm and he came back here for his dinner.

This morning, I'll pop down to the cleaners to collect a dress I left in to be shortened (why do manufacturers think that if you are a size 12, you must be 5'8" - had to have it taken up five inches  ) Then it's off to the gym and probably to the cafe next door afterwards. This afternoon the ironing must be tackled and tonight I'll be doing my nails in preparation for the ball we are going to tomorrow night.

Afternoon all :D

Quite cold here.

We're really late doing anything today. I did quite a lot of walking yesterday so feel a bit sore. I've got some washing on the go and that's about it, we'll probably just have a pack of potato rosti's from the freezer with eggs and baked beans for dinner later.

Hope you all have a good day :D
