This was my first climb I ever did with David back in 2015 and some of my work colleagues have been saying for ages they'd like to do it. 4 of us are now booked to do it. Not boss lady as she's scared of heights but she very generously paid for our tickets on the promise we take photos. Like that wouldn't happen!

If you look on the right of the pic you can see the original pathway under the new one...to think people used to walk on the original one with no safety from falling. No wonder it used to be called the most dangerous walkway in the world. At least now there's some mesh netting there.

Ally, if you click on the related images, the third one along really shows the contrast between the old and new paths. It looks scary now, but then it must have been terrifying

I managed to take a photo almost identical to this when I did it 4 years ago.

Mind boggling when you see it close up to think how seriously dangerous it was.

I'm with A&D I would love the walk, especially the bridge.

I remember seeing a presenter on a travel programme on that or a similar walkway telling us all how frightening it was.... and I am thinking 'you're scared, what about the camera and sound operators lugging all their gear up there so that you can tell us how scared you are.' wimp.
