Post Brexit

Elsewhere, I have seen that people have been stockpiling for March 30th.

I'm dismayed by this tbh. Is anyone here stockpiling, or making any provision for after the big day? I haven't given it a thought - maybe I am naïve....

I'm stockpiling, Gal! :o

Nothing to do with Brexit.

Everything to do with what special offers are on at the supermarket at the moment …… ;) 8-)

You can't move in the kitchen at the moment for Heinz soup cans

I haven't Gal, I'm more concerned about the preppers and their stockpiling making food difficult to come by than Brexit causing the problem.

the main shortages will ony be the perishables we get from the EU I am thinking you only need look at the lables on many veges ets to see they come from South America India in fact all over the world.
I reckon any shortages will be "short" lived too hehe.

I cannot tell how the cards will fall so I do have tinned and dried foods put away.

If it all goes pear shaped I will be covered for about three months or so. If everything is fine I will simply run the reserves down making normal meals.

I call it insurance, but each to their own.

We tend to have full cupboards most of the time, mainly because we buy in bulk when items we use regularly are on offer.
