Good morning.

We're being told Spring has sprung but we didn't have a Winter! :o  so another lovely day forecast. 8-)

#bonkers day 2 but Karen and I are going to walk up to Guzman's garden centre and after a mooch round we'll have lunch. :D

Meeting Don tonight for a pre-weekend drinkie and also a pre-holiday drinkie as next week is Semana Blanca so I'm off work. :P :P

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning Ally,
The sun is coming out after rain in the night. It is getting warmer. Nine degrees in the car when I went for the paper.

Shopping this morning. Taking books back to a shop which recycles them. Can get three boos for a pound. They are sorted into different types. I like detectives.

Then I am going to clean the flags. Will start at the back. Some of them are black as they don't get much sun. If I have time will also do the front.
Have a good d ay everybody.

Morning Ally, Cruiser and everyone

A lovely morning and spring has sprung here :Hi: :Hi: It's going to be a lot warmer for the next week and I'm really looking forward to being able to sit and be outside more 8-)

Washing machine on and Grumpy has requested hot boiled egg rolls for breakfast - so that's me with burnt fingers

I'm under strict orders not to do any bending (he means weeding) so I'll do some cooking instead. I'm alright bending down, the back doesn't hurt then - it's the getting up that hurts

Chicken in white wine for dinner tonight and I'll make a curry for Saturday. Molly will be happy, she gets bits of chicken ;)

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

morning everyone - happy Thursday. Last day at work and then off until Wednesday - whoop whoop whoop :Hi: :Hi: :Hi:

Ally enjoy the day and esp the mooch around the garden centre
Cruiser, when you're finished with your flags, want to come clean mine? The sandstone gets really really slippery because of algae build up. I can't / won't use chemicals on them because of the cats and hedgehogs and other whatever critters walk over it so regular pressure washing has to do.
Jan, glad you heading advice and not going out weeding. Fingers crossed for the warmer weather and being able to sit outside... I can't wait to be able to come home and sit outside as well

Well usual / usual again for me today; but home to pack (easy bit) and sort out everything for the cat sitter (military operation!)

Have a lovely day all x

Morning all :)

That sounds nice Ally :)

Bargain books Cruiser 8-)

Take it easy Jan :) xx

I hope you'll have a brilliant time Ria :D xx

It's a bit more cloudy here today. Sainsbury's with D in a while, putting the washer on before I go, then some ironing later. Pilates again tonight - Steph promised to go easy on me after a tough class last night, but I'm not sure I believe her :P

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here 8-)

Where are you off too Ria?

Up early as I have a blood test to check my potassium level this morning. It's not until just before 12 but I like to get a casserole in the slow cooker and have a leisurely brekkie without having to rush. Afterwards we'll do the usual weekly trip to M&S and Tesco.

Have a good day :D

Good afternoon all, it's sunny and mild here.

The washing machine's doing it's job so I'll get that out to dry shortly. I've also washed Joe's jacket which was a nerve-wracking experience. It's a red, black and white puffa jacket so it had to be done on a cold wash but even then I was nervous about the colours running into the white, I'd put a couple of coloured catchers in too. It's not washed it brilliantly as I think it needed some heat to get the marks out properly but it's a bit better than it was. Typical of Joe to buy something with white in it, he's so messy but seems to favour white tops

Food shopping to be done later so I need to plan meals and make a list.

Have a good day all!

Just finished the flags at the back. They look a lot better. Will have to sweep the dirt away when they have dried. It has been warm in the sun, just like summer.

Will have to get the sun cream out.

Meriad, they don'allow pressure washers on the M25. In addition to the lance, I have a device with two spray nozzles which spin round under a cover. Much quicker and not as messy as the lance.
We boughtit several years ago and it was a good bargain.

It has, I've had the patio doors open all afternoon.
I walked past the play park and village green earlier and there were loads of children, of all ages, playing out. It was lovely to see :D
