I have literally...

Postby Ally » 03 Apr 2019, 13:33

...just danced in a supermarket aisle!

A student of mine has for the past 2 years been doing the B2 course convinced she wasn't good enough to do it.

I've cajoled her, pushed her, comforted her, taught her, marked extra exam practice, been patient with her...you name it I did it.

She sat the exam late February, wailing to me that it was so difficult and she'd failed. :?

She rang me an hour ago just as I was in Mercadona  to tell me she'd passed! :P :P :P And an extremely high level pass too.

Hence me having a jig round in the aisle.

I am soooo happy for her as she'll now get on the nursing course in Malaga that she really wanted to do.

And that news came after a lovely long lunch in the sun with my folks. :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
