Enjoy the hotel stay Ally!
The family are showing up en masse for Sunday dinner, which is always nice, apart from son who has flown to Croatia for a holiday with his gf.
It will be nice. I do like a big sociable family dinner.
Apart from that not much on but I need another computer printer, the old one has properly bitten the dust now. So I'll get on amazon and have a look.

Have a good day all!

Good morning all, it's quite dull here but a bit milder.

Not sure if we're doing anything much today, yesterday was pretty full on and after dinner at Nando's we ended up at The Little Dessert Shop, except their desserts aren't exactly little :D

Joe's in work all day and then he's out with work people tonight for drinks as someone is leaving. I think Shannon's calling in, she's been in London on a course all week and Tom mentioned she'd probably come here on her way back but I've no idea if she's here for dinner or what and Tom wasn't sure what time she'd be starting out.

Enjoy your time away Al!

Hope you have a lovely dinner Crommers!

Have a good day all :)

Morning all :)

Enjoy your celebrations Ally :D

Oh yummy, Jo 8-)

Have a nice family meal Crommers 8-)

It's a brighter day today, still chilly though! Mick and I are out for a cuppa, B is working. We're going to B&Q in a bit, to pick up some plants for my tubs as my narcissi and dwarf tulips have died away. I'm going to lift the bulbs, tie off the leaves, and keep them on a tray in the shed, for next year, as they've been really pretty.

Round to D's, after B&Q to say hello to J and J, my brother and sister-in-law :)

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Afternoon everyone

We're sat in the middle of a cloud    Been mizzley all day so far - the plants are loving it :Hi:

Have a lovely time Ally xx

Yesterday's birthday celebration was brilliant :D :D There were 10 of us  and what I hadn't known was that Brito, uncle of Joaquinha, and his wife would be there. Brito is head chef of a 5 star hotel in Vilamoura and he loved my food :Hi: :Hi: :Hi: Wanted to know what I'd put into the 3 dishes, how long to cook etc. We had a sweepstake for the national and I won :Hi: :Hi:

So off we went to the bar, stuffed with food and I bought the first round. Jose offered to pull my tooth out for free, but I think I'll wait until tomorrow ;)

We had a problem with the laptop yesterday and today - Grumpy will press things that he shouldn't  But I managed to sort it this morning - clever me.

Fire lit and we're staying put for the day.

have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Afternoon all, it is a nice Spring day here. We are being incredibly lazy, I’ve put away dry clothes, put some away in the attic and taken out some lighter clothing. Edward had a look at the iron which leaks from the bottom of the steam generator part of the iron. We’ve only had it three years so are not keen to replace it just yet. In the end, we put a tray underneath it and decided to carry on. Might go for a stroll around the block in a while.
