Good morning Thursday

Postby Ally » 18 Apr 2019, 05:10

Good morning.

A swim then nipping over to see mum and dad for a couple of hours. :D :D

The Semana Santa celebrations continue - Thursday are my favourite ones. They begin with the legion soldiers leaving church at 5.30pm then the fantastic tronos and all the pomp and ceremony that goes with them. It all continues till 6 tomorrow morning.

The whole town seems to get involved...I love it. :D

Have a great day everyone.

Morning Ally, morning everyone

Dull, grey and more rain forecast :Hi: :Hi:

Sounds great dun Ally, have fun :D

The fuel strike is over, thank goodness, but it will take a few days for things to return to normal. We have almost half a tank, so will be okay for one trip own to the bar and then into Ourique next week.

Feeling much better this morning :D All I did yesterday was drink water, read, doze and visit the loo   Didn't sleep too well, up and down to the loo  and got up at 4.30 for a couple ohours, then back to bed.

Will be taking it relatively easy again today, althoughI will try and de-frost that freezer and pick some favas.

Havea great day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :)

That does all sound great Ally, enjoy! I hope your dad is still improving in the lovely sunshine 8-) :) xx

Jan, that's good to hear! Keep resting and getting better (((x)))

It's looking like a nice day here 8-) We are forecast 22° for the weekend 8-) - although, as I treated the garden furniture with teak oil yesterday, ready for it to be used, it will probably snow :P

Food shopping with D today, as per, then I'll hoover etc, so I won't have to do it tomorrow ;) Pilates tonight.

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Good morning everybody,

Have ben to Asda for a few things. It was quiet. Had a busy day yesterday as I took car for MOT and service. Passed without any problems.

The sun is out but there is still a wind so not warm as been forecast.

Just pottering today and relaxing.
Have a good day everybody.

Good morning all, it's quite misty here but it's forecast to brighten up later.

It's been a busy couple of days. We ordered sofas and an armchair from Ikea on Monday night so Tuesday was spent sorting out the storage units in the living room as I'd bought different coloured inserts to match the new stuff which was delivered yesterday and of course being from Ikea it needed building up. Me and Joe did the armchair before he went to work and I unpacked everything and ironed all of the covers ready for us to put the sofas together. It's all done now anyway and looks really nice, and they're so comfortable.

My hayfever is terrible this week. I can usually control it with Beconase and a daily antihistamine, both of which I take all year round due to various allergies so it's not a matter of getting the medication into my system, but they're not touching it at the moment. Just heard on the radio that we're in the midst of a 'pollen bomb' though.

Have a good day all!

Good morning, another nice Spring day here - it is a bit misty but dry with some blue sky and pleasantly mild. We have the children all day today as they are on holidays. Kellie is currently playing with the dolls house while Edward and Michael are practicing their putting out on the terrace. Kellie and I might wander down to the playground in a while although I’m sure it will be busy. Michael got through to the final of his category in his tennis tournament, with the final being played this afternoon. We’ll bring him down and watch a bit of the match. He doesn’t know but his Daddy is getting off work to come and watch him play, as a surprise. I’ve packed quite a bit of our stuff for the weekend, cleaned the bathroom and hoovered the stairs.

Saundra, it’s brilliant that you are able to potter around and enjoy your garden, when you were so ill last year xx

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny here 8-)

Enjoy your time with mum and dad Ally.
Glad you're feeling better Jan, good idea to take it easy.
Hope your hayfever eases Jo.
So happy you can enjoy your garden Saundra, you gave everyone such a fright last year xx

I overdid it in the garden yesterday, very sore this morning. Dosing myself up so we can get out and do the weekly shop, don't fancy getting caught up in all the Easter madness, it's bound to be busy enough today.

Have a good day :D

Afternoon all. An early start taking MrsC to babysit at 7am. Forgot to take my painkillers which wasn't bright of me.
Done a bit of shopping and will shortly be going up to join MrsC.
It's a beautiful day here, hopefully it is where you are too.
