Morning Ally, morning everyone

Gorgeous morning. Last night was cold, but we're now heading into duble figures at night and hitting 30C during the day 8-)

Knew I was jiggered yesterday, only been up half an hour

Houseworkery stuff as soon as I have breakfast, then I need to get out and finish off the weeding on the banks. The ground is still damp from all that rain the other day, so things are coming up with all the roots, which is I what I need. Some of the grasses are almost as tall as me  :o

Grumpy will be cleaning the pool - again  Took the cover off yesterday and were very annoyed to see what we thought was a very green pool :o Dust on the bottom    So that's his job this morning, scrub it and then vacuum it 8-)

Then we'll clean ourselves up and head down to the bar.

Curry tonight - probably the last one until it gets cold again ;)

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :D

Windy and cold here at the moment.

We had a lovely time at the beach with the children yesterday, the weather behaved nicely so although it was a bit windy the sun was shining.

As you can guess, we've been up for quite some time lol Hannah has just gone off with the children for a walk and to explore the park, she's planning to stay out for a few hours so hope the weather improves. We're booked in at The Racing Greyhound for tea later this afternoon.

Have a good day :D

Watch out for the tribe of pygmies living in the grass Jan!
Morning all. It's a bit rainy and blowy here but not as bad as the apocalyptic weather forecast said it was going to be.
MrsC to her dad's this morning and a hospital visit this pm. After that I'm not really sure.
Have a good day all.

Morning all, there was heavy rain during the night but now the sun is making an effort, still windy and cold though. We are on the way into town so Edward can get a new phone, all efforts to revive the dead one were in vain and at this stage I need him to get a new one ;) All seems ok with Miss Osc and family, she says they all slept. SIL may have some more pain but he has medication to deal with it while the stone finishes its journey.

Morning all :)

Lots of posts already, so I'll just wave hello, and reply properly later when I have my Kindle :D

Early start as per usual on a Saturday, for our SW meeting! Good news on the scales for us both, despite the Easter weekend, as B lost another 3lbs and I lost one 8-) B is really doing well, that's half a stone in the last fortnight, and almost 3st in total so far :D :Hi: Currently brunching in Corretto's and then we'll go and see D 8-)

Love to all :) cxx

Finally sat down!

We've spent the day sorting out the spare room and and putting a double bed in there. That meant dismantling the bed settee and then I decided the large bookcase that houses all of the DVDs had to go so that meant a trip out to Argos for some underbed storage boxes for the DVDs, and I also sorted a load to take to the charity shop. It looks really good though. John's waiting to hear from someone at work as to whether his sister wants the sofa bed. I've got to contact the Sue Ryder shop anyway for them to come for the large and small bookcases so I'll hold fire until Monday before emailing them to arrange the collection and the number of items and if it's not wanted, they can take the sofa bed too.
